Probably a silly question but I just used Modge Podge for the 1st time. I used the Matte finish and when it had dried you could see fine lines on my paper. I used a foam brush, is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
I think that this is normal. I've had the same issues, but they don;t bother me. I've heard, but haven't tired that Royal Coat (by the same manufacturer as Mod Podge) dries without brush marks.
I like PERFECT PAPER ADHESIVE Matte (and Glossy). Made by US ART Quest. Can be purchased at Michael's (with coupon!)--it is in the glue section of the store. Comes in an 8.5 fl oz bottle, it's like $8. Awesome stuff!
I apply with sponge brush or paint brush for different effects.
I used Paper Mod Podge (matte) on a paint can. You don't see the lines. I found it at Archivers.
I used Gloss-Lustre Mod Podge on a coaster box and you can see the lines. It bothered me at first but now I kind of like it better after comparing with the paint can. Not sure if it's because of the lines or because it's glossy or both. I wonder if there's a Glossy Paper Mod Podge. I will have to try that next!

Has anyone ever tried MOD PODGE to adhere pictures (printed out on tissue paper) to candles. I saw this "somewhere" on the internet, but never tried it. Just wondering if there are any opinions on this? Thanks.
