You buy wire works from stampin up or any other wire will do and you bend it into the hanger yourself.

I tried to use my wire and I guess I am retarded because it just looked awful! I mean tiny clothes hangers to use for cards - so it looks like a dress is hanging...
I guess I will post my sample after I get the ebay ones... I just prefer to have a regular source I can use.

I recently bought a package of 5 at Hobby Lobby for $1.48. They are Crafts, Etc! brand, item #849786 and were located in the miniatures aisle.

Default hangers

I have a Quickutz die for a mini wire hanger - it is WAY TOO CUTE. If you want some - I can punch them out and send them to you. Just let me know how many you want, and what colors.

I got some at Michael's. They are by Card Connection and were by the miniature things that you use for card making (they are in the very first aisle in my store). They are $4.99 for 24 hangers. If you can wait for a coupon they are pretty reasonable. HTH!

My son, krabearkub, uses jewelry wire from his sisters beading supplies

Works great, bends easy and it's silver color

I stumbled upon directions for making the little hangers this morning. Hope this helps!

To create the wire hangers:
1. Find center. Fold up ends 1/2" from either side of center to make a triangle.
2. Twist both ends together about three times.
3. Using needle-nose pliers, cut one end near twist.
4. Round other end and trim off extra wire with pliers.

I had to make 100 mini wire hangers for my moms friends and my husband made a little template I just put the wire around. The hangers were actually super easy to make then and it went by so fast! It was in a wood block I had extra and then four nails placed where I needed them.
