Okay. Really dumb! I saw someone using micro applicators on a card and she shared a link to them on Amazon. I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered them and now I don't remember how she used them. I have 400 of those little suckers (minimum order) and don't remember what to do with them! Jeez! Has anyone seen these in use? I want to say she was painting with Brusho or something. What a dip!:confused:

I got a response. She used them to apply glue to fine die cuts. Also used them with two way glue, letting it dry and using it to pick up small card stock pieces.

I use them to apply glue in tiny places like for mini sequins, stones, etc, thin die cuts and maybe sometimes to fill in ink in a tiny place that was missed and really shows.
It looks like there are lots of uses for them! Thanks ladies. Maybe I should start writing down why I am influenced to buy something when I order it. I did mention that I have 400 of them, right? LOL!

I wonder if you could sell lots of 100 of them on eBay. You're not the only one that doesn't like having to buy and store such large quantities of supplies, so it seems like it'd sell. It's just a thought.
I have found generally I can only use them once (glue) so you might go through them faster than you expect.
I have not decided yet if they are really necessary-or I can use my "all purpose super tools" of an opened paper clip or safety pin lol...the coloring is good for small eyes esp so there is that.

Couldn't believe they were $8.99! I bought some from China, dentists' requisites, for a couple of pounds including shipping: not sure how many in the pack.

AAAHHH; so that's why those have been in my stash drawer for years! LOL, no seriously, they have. Thx so much for asking! I've just been using toothpicks for the same purposes; they seem to do the trick. Didn't know I had a special tool for that.
Oh my gosh! I bought some of those micro applicators at stamp shows in the late 1990�s for sponging ink onto tiny images. A pack of 20 cost several dollars as I recall and I have used them judiciously through the years thinking they were no longer available!!! I STILL use them for sponging ink onto tiny images like flowers and different wildlife images.
I never even considered using them for applying glue to tiny die cuts. What a clever idea! I detest trying to apply glue directly from the glue bottle/tube/applicator. I may sacrifice a couple from my ancient stash to try with glue. If I like the way it works, I will pop over to Amazon and add-to-cart! Thanks for sharing this idea!

If you use some two-way glue like Tombow glue with the micro applicator and let the glue dry on it, you can use it to pick up little punched out pieces. Like little black round cut outs for eyes, etc.
