Poppystamps is a company that Dave, the owner of MemoryBox, created for his teenaged children. I believe that Dave does all the designing for both companies, but his kids run Poppystamps themselves.
Poppystamps has two beautiful dies I'd love to have ... Madison Window die in Grand and Small. They seem to be out of stock everywhere :-(
A local store in Seattle called Impress Rubber Stamps has both dies. I'm not sure if they ship to Canada. Here's a link to the dies they carry. dies + tools: Impress Rubber Stamps

Thanks for the lead. I'll check it out :-) I've seen some really beautiful cards made with the larger die but I can envision a use for both sizes!

I checked this site out and they only ship Priority USPS to Canada which starts in the $20 range for shipping. Frantic Stamper will most likely be where I'll be purchasing $3.95 shipping versus $20+ from Impress. I'm not "Impressed" with those shipping costs LOL!

I wouldn't wait too long to order from Frantic Stamper. When I spoke with them yesterday they stated MB dies were flying off the shelves. Crop Stop has the Small window in stock and they are reasonable on shipping too. SHIPPING rates per Crop Stop web site....
We ship worldwide!
We offer a flat rate shipping rate on all dies and embossing folders. Order as many as you like and you will only be charged $1.50 in the USA, $3.00 in Canada and $6.00 for the rest of the world.
Have a question? Please call or email us - 609 972 6850 or [email protected]
USA (inc HI & AK)
$1.50 for as many Dies and Embossing folders as you like.
If your order contains ONLY dies and embossing folders and is under $35.00 then shipping is $1.50. If your order contains anything other than dies or embossing folders then you use the shipping table as you pasted below.
$3.00 for as many Dies and Embossing folders as you like.

I've got an email in to Frantic Stamper to place the order. I'm hoping they're still in stock :-) If not, I'll try Crop Stop. Thanks for the lead and all the shipping information.

"Impress Stamps" shipping costs to Canada, when purchasing just dies (I've never purchased anything else from them though) are very reasonable. I think they charge actual charges and I paid something like $4 for three dies shipped to Canada. They've shipped fast. Crop Stop is also great, I've shopped with them before, shipping times and charges are very reasonable.

I'm assuming they changed their policy since you purchased. I didn't email them directly but on their site it says:
"International orders: Shipping charges will be the actual cost to mail the package by 1st class airmail. We add on nothing for handling fees. Please refer to USPS for examples of what these costs will be. Your credit card will be billed once for the merchandise and once for the shipping charge. Shipments outside the USA may be subject to import charges and taxes. These charges will be the responsibility of the buyer."
When I click on the link for USPS in that note above, it takes you directly to the International Price Calculator and and envelope for Canada is $26.95.

Reason: typos
Frantic Stamper did sell out but they have another order arriving in 10 days so I'm top of the list when that order comes in. Shipping ended up being $7.95 for four dies and a punch so I'm tickled pink :-)

Leslie, Sorry they sold out. I hate it when I really want something and no one has it. When I ordered on Tuesday she only had three of the Spring Border in stock but I did luck out to get one of those. My order is scheduled to be here tomorrow, can't wait! When I order from Fran I call as I won't put my Credit Card info in an e-mail. Also, I was able to find out immediately if the items I wanted were still in stock. Can you tell I'm an impatient person..LOL Hope your items come in quickly. Enjoy!
My last purchase was not that long ago, so you might be right that policy was changed recently, I don't know. I have no idea what it would be like for heavier, bulkier items.

I don't mind waiting the ten days. In reality, that will put it near the New Year and if they came sooner, with the holidays, I won't be using them before January :-)
Thanks for the kind words. Can't wait to try them, and to have the time to try them :-)
