These are some of my favorites: Catalina Wreath, Catalina Border, Bianca Snowflake, Tivoli Snowflake, Flowering Christmas Tree, Vivienne Butterfly, La Rue Heart, Savannah Border.
I am glad your store is no where near me. I doubt I could limit myself to any less than one of everything in my style.
Their dies are yummy. I own many and use them all - all the time.
But as has been said already it is personal choice. Look at your style and match your choices to that. And remember dies are a lot like stamps so try to imagine using them in different ways to get more mileage out of them.
Since I'm a butterfly fanatic, I've purchased several butterfly dies. I also like their intricate border dies. I don't think you can go wrong with any Memory Box die!
It is definitely hard to scale down the list of MB does to have in your stash, but my favorites for now are the Graceful Branch (from which many hung tiny hearts in February and will no doubt hand tiny eggs for Easter), the Dancing Tulips for general spring uses, and Grand Gothic Window. I used that window for a Christmas card, and have added the Grand Gothic Arch for sympathy cards. I also have the Summer Border, but it needs to be cut down to fit a standard card. IF you decide to get a window, look closely at the size of it (some are too large for a standard A2 card) and the accessories of the same size that coordinate with it. ... Good luck with your decisions, I agree with the others that one of each would be appropriate as they are all great.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I know it is a personal thing and what appeals to one does not to another. I really like that Graceful Branch and Dancing Tulips. Thanks for those recommends. Now, for the bad news. The sale was only on for 3 days and I didn't make it back there to buy. Now, maybe that is at least good for my pocket book, lol. The sale will come around again. I just hope they have what I want in stock. Doesn't always happen in my experience. Or the dies get discontinued.
