Default Matching Designer paper with cardstock

Good morning everyone,
I am making name frames for my relatives for Christmas, and I've chosen some designer paper series to use (sentimental journey, recollections, oxford, sarah) but I'm trying to chose what cardstock will best match the colors in these designer paper series so the outcome will look coordinated and complete. Along with that, I'm having a hard time matching the ribbon with the designer paper series as well. Just wanted to know if any one had any thoughts and suggestions. Thanks for your time!

I almost always use Bazzil cardstock and have their software for matching cs to pp or even photos. It's pretty cool! Otherwise, I just have to eye it! That can be hard in a store because they have notoriously crappy lighting! I often wish there was an Ott flashlight that I could carry in my purse!

Do you have a regular demonstrator??? She can look up the matching colors. If you don't, I can look it up for you later if someone else doesn't post the colors used in the designer papers. I'll check back and them when I get home from work this afternoon if you haven't gotten them by then.

According the the ol' Product Guide:

Oxford: Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa

Sarah: Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue, So Saffron

Recollections: Cranberry Crisp, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip

Sentimental: Cranberry Crisp, True Thyme, Buckaroo Blue, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Creamy Caramel

I hope that's helpful.

Does anyone have any other designer paper combos with 'the families'? I thought I had seen it a while back... This is the only one I can find (Which is already a great help!)

Thanks,

Pz

It seems I've seen that posted before also. I did a quick SCS search and came up with this list (originally posted by SDiegoGal). Maybe someone else will be able to find the list of papers with the families.

Rebecca: Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose
Slumber Party: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose
Recollections: Cranberry Crisp, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip
Sentimental Journey: Cranberry Crisp, True Thyme, Buckaroo Blue, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Creamy Caramel ( in collage only)
Designer Series Double Sided Paper
Spring Showers: Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand
Spring Flowers: Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand

I was also wondering if anyone had the color cardstock specs on the Loves Me and the Enchant Designer series double-sided paper featured in the Winter Mini.

Thanks in advance!

Now there is an idea that would make you a million! (an Ott-lite flashlight!). I have a travel light and 2 floor lamps, and I would buy a flashlight in a minute. Besides card making, I do a lot of painting and can't life without my "Otts".

Default Winter mini paper colors

Enchant: Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Sage Shadow, and Very Vanilla

Loves Me: Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, and Taken with Teal

It seems to me the Loves Me has more colors in it but this is all that is listed in the product guide.

Thanks California Girl (and SDiegoGal) and Lyn410. I'm going to print out a list of the matching cardstock and put it in my personal catalog.

Here's a link to a thread that has a guide for matching the
designer papers. You can save the file and print it for future
reference. Hope it helps.
