Seriously, who do I have to sleep with to get my hands on the new scalloped punches? >Totally Kidding by the way< :o) Here's my dilema...I went to FOUR local scrapbook stores today (yes, I am secretly Christmas shopping for myself..lol) No store carries them here!! Each one said maybe the "other" store has them????!!!! I was supposed to be finishing up my Christmas cards. What's one more day's delay? I NEED those punches! LOL
If anyone has any tips they can offer on where to find them, I would appreciate it. I think I saw someone listing them for sale on their blog. But I didn't write it down and MOM-NESIA stuck.
All I want for Christmas is my scalloped punch! Merry Christmas to everyone and a very happy holiday season.

Joann.com has most of them... scalloped circle and square, just not the scalloped oval. But they did have that in stock last week... just have to keep stalking them! I finally got my oval there.
Good luck!

Scalloped Punches
I've been on the quest myself and have 6.... shhh... I've gotten most of mine from create for less (www.createforless.com). And my scrapbook store was able to order a few for me but they had to wait. Also check ebay... I think somebody mentioned Joann's but I don't have one close by.
Good luck. It took me about 6 weeks to find all of them. Keep looking and don't settle for anything but the Clever Lever brand by Marvy Uchida.
I have been looking for these punches too and decided to check the manufacturer, they are out of stock on both the Giga and the Mega, circle and ovals. I guess Santa won't be bringing those to me. Maybe after Christmas.
I got this bit of information from Ellen Hutsons blog!! Thought I would share!
Here is another little tidbit of information that you will all find rather amusing. I was talking with the Marvy Uchida representative yesterday and she said that the Scalloped punches never used to sell. Then there was this site that started using them and... so they are ordering them in from overseas as fast as they can! When they arrive here in the U.S. they are then all spoken for already for the month of December. What a riot SCS is creating amongst the manufacturers! I do believe that Provocraft and now Spellbinders are in for a ride - aren't they
So I looked at Joann.com and realized - I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!! LOL I wanted to get the punches that I see in so many of the galleries. But, what size are they? And furthermore, which punches are the ones that punch the smaller shapes sitting inside each of the scalloped punches? HELP....
Care to fill me in?

At Joann's look under Marvy ppunches. The Giga is the larger one for $19.99 and the mega will nestle inside. It is $14.99 (I think).
They were in stock yesterday and there is a post on SCS somewhere for 50% off one item or free 2 day upgrade shipping.
I ordered from http://www.1stopsquare.com and they are supposed to be here today It took two weeks to get here (1 week to process, and another week to ship), but I got Free shipping with an order over $48 and they had them in stock. Can't wait to play with them.

Search for Clever Lever punches -- that's how I found mine.
I ordered mine from www.franticstamper.com, and they came within a week. Fran is the lady who took my order. She was very nice and very helpful. Try them, they might have what you want.
I checked with Fran (franticstamper) on the weekend and she was all sold out of the giga oval scalloped one (not sure about the others, this was the only one that I was enquiring about). She was hoping to get more in by the end of the month, although she did say that Marvy was backordered, they too had none in stock.
Ok...I just spent FOREVER browsing and searching the internet. Most places were out of stock and the few that had them in stock would have been close to $30 with shipping. That's insane for ONE punch. I guess I'll have to be patient and wait for Joann's to get them back in and hope for a coupon.
They have both the circle and the square scalloped punch in my local Craft Warehouse, the Giga is regular priced at $17.99, the smaller ones are cheaper. Of course, they almost never have coupons there and when they do, I usually miss them! I decided I wanted to get the oval scalloped punch, but they don't have those! I do think I am going to go in and buy myself the circle at least, they might have a coupon after Christmas?

Holy Cow! I ordered the Giga Oval and Circle and got them today. They are HUGE! I had no idea the punches were going to be that big. Sorry, I never get out to actual stores these days. Now I really want the mega ones.
Check out the B/S/T forum here. I'm just about to put mine up for sale and my Giga Scallop JUST arrived this week!! I've decided since I now I have the Cricut I will not need these.
Does anyone know which Cricut cartridge cuts these shapes?
TIA!
I was just about to ask the same question. I just went to provo craft and checked out all the cartridges and none of them have the scallop oval. There are some regular ovals, scalloped circles, and scalloped squares, though. I'd better find out before I sell my much wanted gigal punch oval!!

Jane
wait for Joann's and order them on line using the coupon. I haven't paid full price for any of my scallops and I have them all. It just took a while to collect them all.

that is so funny! I'll bet advertising here is the best bargain around!!!!
Now I've been wondering what those crafty trendsetters are going to do now that we all have the scallops???? They need something new to awe us with!

these gals keeping sharing so many wonderful ideas, and i've gotta have it all. So that i can CASE it all!
Could sks please tell me, where i can get them at a decent price. So far, I haven't had any luck locating them in the stores here in Alberta.
and also curious to find out the size everyone likes and who make of them.
Thanks so much,
and Happy Holidays!

I finally caved in and ordered a few of them online from Joann's a week ago. I'm not sure if they sell to Canada, but you can check it out. The web address is joann.com. Do a search for "Marvy Uchida" and the punches will come up.
I purchased mine from www.franticstamper.com. Fran is super nice and knows her punches. By looking on her site she also ships to Canada.
Merry Christmas

Yep, I also ordered mine from Fran at franticstamper.com and she is terrific! I think that I also got a pretty good price but more important I didn't have to keep running from place to place trying to find them somewhere. I even asked at Archiver's, can you believe that the lady there had never even heard of them???? Jan
I bought mine from Uchida directly - http://www.uchida.com/ its free shipping for over $40 not sure what shipping is international. They are pretty fast...

Me too! I ordered all of my 6 punches (ordered the 3 shapes; oval, square and circle in 2 sizes; mega and giga) from Fran....she was lovely to work with and is very used to shipping to Canada (I'm in Ontario).
I did check out the Uchida site before ordering from Fran and they do not ship to Canada.
Yes, I ordered the Giga punch from JoAnn's with 1/2 off coupon, so it was only $9.99, saved $10, but still had to pay $6 for shipping. It punches very nicely and I plan to get a plain oval at Michaels or Hobby Lobby if they go on sale or have a coupon to use. They haven't had the scalloped punches here in a while.
