But, it's weird. It doesn't work like a regular punch, where the paper pops out the bottom. This one has a solid bottom.. it's very hard to explain. :???: It doesn't have an opening on the bottom. When I look inside it from the side, and press the lever, it's almost like a little press. But not a punch. And the bottom of it, when I sit the punch on end, such as to store it.. and the arch of the heart is at the top on the picture on the front, but the metal heart on the bottom is upside down... I'm very confused.
I did try it.. and it works, for the most part.. I had to press pretty hard on the lever and when I took the paper out, it wasn't cut all the way. I had to separate it in a couple spots around the edge.
Does anyone have this punch? Is what I'm saying making any sense to you? lol
This might be one of them that isn't supposed to completely cut the item, in this case, heart out. It stays attached so you can bend it up and make 3D.
Can't swear to it but I think that's what this is.
Hmm, thank you Amber. I was wondering that myself after doing a good bit of research online. I guess I'll try using it that way.. and see how it turns out... Glad I didn't pay much for it.
Hi there! Do you have any more information about this punch like an item number...You got me curious , and I did a little search- but it's really hared to find...!!
Maybe a picture of the back?
Hope you find the answer!!
Cindy~

I bought this punch when it first came out (5 years ago, maybe?). I had the same experience....totally flummoxed at how this worked. I think I got rid of it, but knowing me I stashed it someplace "just in case" it turned out being the coolest punch ever.
I will root around my stamp room and see if it's there, then if not, a box of punches that are on-their-way-out, but never made it. I am a born procrastinator, what can I say?! :-D
Hey Cindy, I have nothin! lol I bought it used, so I don't have the package it came in... and there are no numbers or other identifying markings on it anywhere... just Martha Stewart on the handle. I'm planning on taking a pic of the back, but I'm not in my craft room and the lighting in my family room leaves much to be desired. Hoping to get pics tomorrow in good daytime light.
Hey Susy! Ah ha! At last, I find someone else who has/had it. AND was/is confused by it. lol That makes me happy! hahaha! At least I'm not the only one.
Thye had several punches that operated like the one you are describing and I remember back in the day when they first came out that people were really confused by them. I think that I may have one in original packaging that is this kind of punch but I won't be able to look until tomorrow to see what exactly they were called.
I am so glad that this question was posted as I have the MS button punch & thought it was defective because it didn't cut right through! I tried sharpening the punch by punching through aluminium foil thinking that it would help - but of course, it didn't - so I never used the punch. NEVER occurred to me to look up a MS You-Tube video about it! Thanks so much
