My Tombow markers have been wonderful - but they are on their last legs - I want to invest in a new set of markers - which ones should I go for - any suggestions????
Whew! That all depends on how much you wanna spend! I have SU! markers which are AWESOME for coloring, but if you want to invest more and learn shading and have EVERY COLOR UNDER THE RAINBOW, look into Copics! I'm just starting to collect them and I love the look I can achieve with them If you search in this forum, you'll find tons of threads on copics! Good luck!
For the cost I would stay with your tombows. You are used to them and they have more colors than the SU ones. Copics sound great but there is alot of practicing I read.
there are just so many choices - i''m not even sure if the copics are available in australia yet. Do you ladies know how much cheaper craft items are in the US as opposed to here

There are lots of marker options. The tombow which you have.
SU! - here is a nice tutorial if you want to try a copic look with SU markers http://paperpleasing.typepad.com/my_...ics-no-pr.html
There is also a tutorial out there for using BIC mark-it and Sharpie markers like copics: http://afterhoursstamper.blogspot.co...e-results.html
I googled "copic markers" + Australia and several art supply stores came up. Perhaps one of them would be near you and you could go look at them/try them in person.
Have fun exploring the options!
