Where can I get a good template for making envelopes....you know, the odd sizes like 3x3, 5x5 or 6x6. I'd prefer a set that contains templates for all these sizes.
Pricecheck.......The Scor-Pal is one tool that will allow you to create any size envelope you choose to make. It can also be used for making boxes and other things.
There are templates thay you can tear around to create your envelopes. I don't like the tearing part, so I just have drawn around the templates.
My preference after purchasing many different kinds of templates is the Scor-Pal.
Do an internet search for envelope templates and you will come up with several to choose from.
There is a web site called green sneakers. Sorry I can't link. They sell Kreat-a-lope. They have lots of different sizes. You do not have to tear you could draw and cut. I have some of their stencils and they work great.

The Enveloper from Crafter's Companion makes 9 sizes of envelopes. It is the easiest, fastest way to make an envelope, by far. (And, I have used the Scor-pal, and all the templates out there!)
You can buy it alone or in a kit with the TopScore.
The best deal is at HSN- you can get the complete set for about $30.

I notice that you listed only square envelopes, so here is a link to a formula to make your own - and use up that stash of pattern paper in the process (scroll to post 6):

HIGHLY recommend the Enveloper. LOVE it!
Here is another vote for the Enveloper. It is the best for making envelopes I think. I love the Score Pal for my cards, but use the Enveloper for making all my envies.
It's a good way to use up all those "stacks" of pattern paper that are sitting in my room. A pattern that I would never use on a card makes a neat envie when you put the pattern inside, and the white outside.

Hi there
I'm very excited to hear about the enveloper, as I've been looking for a good tool for envelopes that deals with Australian card sizes (which are the same as europe).
Can anyone with one tell me what the 9 sizes of envelopes it makes are? I've looked everywhere & can't seem to find it.
I don't want to order one unless I know it will at least make envies to fit our standard Aus card size which is narrower & longer than US sizes. (10.5cm x 14.8cm....or 4 1/8 in x 5 7/8 in) .
I use Lauren Meader's envelope formula - you can make an envelope for ANY size card you need. You can find it on the Scor-Pal site here, but you don't need a Scor-Pal to use it. Just follow her formula! HTH! ;)
I have about every envelope maker on the market. The Enveloper is my all time favorite way to make envelopes. It's really easy to use and my envelopes look great every time. It even make envelope boxes for thicker cards that need some extra room in them. It even has a cool little embossing tool to add decoration to the flaps. I wish there were more patterns, but I do like the ones that come with the enveloper. JIL
