I buy Making Memories mini brads from Michael's. I usually get one that's called "antique bronze" (going from memory) which is what I use for brown, so it's a little more on the metallic side than the brown color side. Hope this helps.

Default brown brads

you can also make your own using versamark and then dip into embossing powder and then use heat gun to dry. Use tweezers to hold as they will get hot. Let dry for 15 minutes and you can spray with a sealer so the color does not run> Hope this helps.

I buy mine from ACMoore. I think the brand is American Crafts. They have a lot of different colors sold individually.

This is what I do too. Esp. if you have a coupon. I bought mine when Joanne's had them on clearance.

If you have alcohol markers...ie Copic.......you can color your brad to match. I haven't tried Prismacolor markers or Sharpies, but I think they would work as well.

Default Update

Just an update...I ordered the American Crafts brads and the Paper Pink Hedgehog brads. I love them both and I will definitely order more in the future. Thank you again for the recommendations.
