Default Kokuyo - Is the Newer Dispenser Style Worth It?

Hi All - Has anyone out there tried both the Kokuyo Permanent Adhesive "older" dispenser style and the "newer" dispenser style? I have the older style, and I'm about to embark on creating my wedding invitations, save the dates, and thank you cards. I find the Kokuyo adhesive to be a "must" as I never worry about my finished product falling apart. I'm trying to decide if I should pay the little bit extra for the newer cartridge and refills vs. going with my older one and buying the refills for it. Is the newer style worth the extra money? Thanks for your help!

I use Kokuyu Dot N Roller dispenser and refills. I don't know if that is the same thing as what you are using?

But, it's the best tape runner adhesive I've ever used--I absolutely *love* the stuff! Holds fabulously, doesn't get clogged and the tapeline never breaks nor gets hung up on itself. Disengages easily, no tricky moves needed, etc.

Default Kokuyo

Yes yes yes, this is the best adhevise runner i have ever ever used. You do not have to worry about any of your projects falling apart. It is a little pricey, but worth it. I had the old dispenser years ago when i first got into scrapbooking. I recently bought the new one to try. I order 5 or 6 re-fills at a time. They really last a lot longer. when i make cards i don't have to worry about the person opening up the card and it falling apart.

So, where's the best place to order the dispenser and refills?

I order mine from B-Stamps n Stuff in Longview, Texas. We don't have a local Scrapbook Store, except HL & Michaels. If you are interested in the # i will post it.

I love and adore the Dot N Roller, but I also have the newer Kokuyo tape runner too.

I had and hated the old one. The new model is easier to use and reload.

Check out http://www.scrapbookpal.com for gret prices on Kokuyo adhesives. Great prices and fast service too.

Default Thanks!

Hi All - Thanks for the advice! I am convinced I should get the new roller! (Especially since I just used my old one tonight. I ended up getting frustrated with it, and I was only doing a couple of sample cards.)
