Question Just Rite stamps ???

Can anyone tell me (enable me) if these are something I have to have? I am still trying to figure out how they work. Can you make your own sentiment stamps? Do they all come pre-inked, or can I use my own pads? What do I need to get me started? Are they like the Nesties in that I will eventually have to own them all???
I've tried searching this thread, but keep getting a database error message, so sorry if this has been discussed before.
Thanks for your help!

Default I am just as confused

I love going to http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ and she uses JustRite alot and even sells them in her store. What I do know is that if you buy the pre-inked ones, they come with a black pad and then a dry pad. You can use your own re-inkers to put colors on them, so it doesn't have to be black all the time. I am just trying to figure out if it is better to buy the Monogram stamp or the Sonnet stamp. I can't tell a big difference in them. Also, you can buy the wood stamps, and then you can use whatever ink you want with them. Hope I have helped a little. But I am in your same boat.

I'm glad you asked this question. I've seen such cute personalized christmas treats made with these stamps. I don't really understand the different types. I tried looking on the site but am still confused. I would like to get just a basic start up set.

You may find the answer at Craft Critique (www.craftcritique.com)- this website has reviews for lots of stuff, probably most tools, etc you have questions about. I searched Just Rite monograms stamps and found information, but am unable to insert the link. But at least you can go there and maybe your answer.

I would love to find a "getting started with Just Rite stamps" type of deal - especially since it's getting close to the holidays and I need to start dropping hints to DH.
I've gone to the website in hopes of finding something under the FAQ with no luck. I'm intriqued, but confused.........

I found a couple of links for info on JustRite....

Flourishes webstore carries several different JustRite stamp products (4 pgs worth):
http://www.flourishes.org/servlet/th...OYS/Categories

Sharon Johnson has posted many times about JustRite stamps on her blog, and if you go through all her JustRite posts (it's worth it even if you scroll quickly and look for the types of pic you want) she has several different photos of the different types of JustRite stamps that she's used:

When I got the JustRite stamps I got the C45 Monogram kit and the Wooden stamper. I wish I would have saved my money and just got the wooden stamper, because I have never used the C45. I don't use black ink, and I don't need to do multiple impressions without reinking.

I admit that the choices are confusing, there are so many new products - which is wonderful, but I'm not always sure which set goes with which stampers, etc...

I would start with one of the wooden stamper font sets, you'll get the 1 5/8" wooden stamper and a font set - http://www.justritestampers.com/Prod...uctid=JB-07350

I don't work for Stamp Castle, but I have gotten good service from there!

I agree with HoosierMomma. I would get a round block and border set, and an additional font set with many sizes. Please get the tiniest letter set. It's great for the personalized borders. Also, if you can, the number set. It's great for anniversary, graduation, and birthday cards. I have the C-45 and C-30 with the ink already in them, and I much prefer the wooden blocks. I think it's a wonderful idea, and use mine frequently. All the products are interchangeable, so you can add to them, if you like. Eileen

I have many of the items from Just Rite. I agree that I like the wood blocks better than the stamper although I have both.

I can tell you that Just Rite has EXCEPTIONAL customer service! My first stamper had a problem and the rings would pop off the stamp. I emailed the company & I received a new one shipped UPS in 2 days!

CraftTownHobbyLandUSA has a great deal on a combo package here for the C45 set and accessories. With their volume discount you save 20% on this item alone.

I own both the C45 and a wooden block set. Now that I have both, I much prefer the wood block. Take a look on the JR blog: http://www.justritestampers.blogspot.com/ After looking at all of the wonderful examples, you'll have one by next week. Everything is so versatile and it's fun to use.

The C45 (part of the original kit first offered) was a self-inking stamper. Now they have come out with just wooden blocks with the tracks where you insert the borders/design centers/letters (see thumbnail below) and are just like any other stamp.

How is everyone storing them. Are you leaving them in the box they came in? I am at a loss as to how to store them

Can anyone explain which of the stampers you can put the small letter set in? Is it all of them? I like the stamps where people have customized their own sayings for the border....I'm so lost about which stamps I could do that with though.

Specifically, the set I am looking at is the DIY Special Occasions Monogram Stamp. http://www.justritestampers.com/Prod...uctid=JB-07350

Would the small letters work with this?
