Yes. Love, love, love, love, love it.

I do a lot of professional wedding stationery and layered paper projects that require perfectly placed layers. This JIGster is an absolute essential for me. It's easy to use and gets perfect results every time. It has become one of my favorite tools.

I want it! It seems a bit pricey, though.

I think the tool looks interesting and one that would be very useful. I guess you're own your own for knowing exactly the dimensions to cut the layers?? The video was not all that explanatory.

I could use some of their other products, too.

Their products all come pre-cut for the layers. You just need to put them together, which is why they sell the jigster.

I think the tool itself you can use on your own with you own layers and sizes.

I would be cutting my own layers and just using their tool for getting the sizes uniform. Perhaps that's not the purpose of the tool. I could still see it working or me. I would just need to measure the jig for myself.

I'm in the middle of assembling 150 invitations and it is a daunting job. But it will be the only time I ever do this so with all the years of cardmaking and stamping, I'm fairly confident about squaring up the layers. One thing is helping and that is the adhesive in the atg gun is a little more forgiving than mono in that until you press down on it, it can be picked up if you notice you are not going square.

With the first layer out of 150, I think I have 3 that I'm not happy with. The next layer is on pop dots, so it has the same forgiveness.

I think I have a pretty good eye for square, but if I was EVER going to do this again, I'd consider the jigstar. The thing I can see is that you would have to plan your sizes to fit the gizmo. (One of mine fatter on the top and bottom than it is on the sides.)

Default jigster

Makes the Scor-Pal look like a bargain! I use the SP if I am making a card front that I want to mount perfectly to a base. Put the card base in the upper left corner of the SP, then use the SP like a jigser to get perfect alignment of the card front. Makes alignment so easy. I can see the attraction for this tool, but $70?!

Default Jigster/score pal

I really want the Jigster, but the price is too high. I too have used the ScorPal like you and that works well for me.

Jutta & catxnmks - can you explain a little more about how you use the SP like a Jigster? I see how the Jigster works... just not sure how to get something similar out of the SP.

Thank you!!
