Default Janome Sew Mini help?

I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me how to adjust the tension on a Janome Sew Mini? I'm not even sure if it's possible. Mine is messing up on the top of my card stock, which should mean the regular thread tension, not the bobbin tension, I think.... I'm not an expert sewer. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Hi marie. you might want to take a look at this blog HERE. She has a section if you scroll down, on adjusting the tension. HTH!

The tension dial on the Janome is in the middle of the red panel to the left of the stitch selector. You should see numbers as you turn the dial, mine currently reads 1. My advice would be to adjust slowly! Wonky tension is no fun! If you need more help feel free to ask or PM. I love my Janome, but a few weeks ago it was giving me so much trouble I had to take the entire thing apart!

Usually an issue with the thread is a problem on the opposite side (so an issue on the top probably means a problem with the bobbin). Make sure the bobbin is wound properly, and is seated in the machine the correct way.
