I'm stocking up on ink, and was just wondering if you find yourselves using more of the full size ink pads or the smaller pads. I'm kind of liking the smaller ones, just because I can get more colors for the money, but was curious to know your opinions...
Thanks!

More stamps for more people!
I like the big pads cuz I can just stamp and go. With the little ones, you have to turn the stamp over, pick up the little pad and pat it all over the stamp. Takes longer.
I do have low energy from illness tho, lol, it might not bother you!
And I'm the opposite. I have both and prefer the smaller ones. I'm actually going to give my niece my big pads - space issues. I can store more smaller ones.
I use the smaller sized pads (spots). They store easily, and I find it is easier to tap the ink pad on the stamp to get better coverage and it works well for direct to paper or edging techniques. It's also a more economical way to stock up on lots of colors. Good luck with your decision!
Depends. For black, I tend to go for the Big pad, unless it is a very small image. For any other color I tend to like the little ones. Mainly because these I use more for sponging, edging, etc...
I prefer the dew drop pads and the Versacolor cubes, especially if you're stamping multiple colors on one stamp. For instance, coloring the petals and the stem different colors. Like one of the posters above said, for black ink, I prefer the full size pads.

It really depends on how you stamp. I love my dew drops and cat eyes because I use a lot of small stamps and sentiments. They're lousy for inking up a full size background or large solid stamps though. (Not that you can't, just that it's a lot of effort for less reliable results.)
I prefer the cubes or other small stamp pads. More control for inking whether you're using a large or small stamp. Yes, they also take up much less space too!
I like jumbo pads for background stamps, full size pads for regular sized stamps and dew drops/spots/Cat's Eyes for small stamps. But I rarely have the same color in more than one size (unless it's a different formulation ... like dye in one size and pigment in another) so I use whatever size I have in the color I want to ink the stamp in.
I donated all of my big pads to my sons school. I only use the mini's or the cat eyes. They take up so much less room and they are easier to take with me.
