I have my own chart where I took SU colors and tried matching to inks that I own. I can send it to you if you wish. It is not perfect. The distress chart mentioned above was from a friend who received SU cardstock from someone and matched it to the distress line.
What I have found is that many companies have the same color of ink labeled in their color names. I found that I have Gina K Designs ink colors that are exact matches to Lawn Fawn ink, but didn't know till I purchased them. I had an old chart of Gina K ink color matches to Memento ink colors. I tried combining those matches to the SU colors. When making a card with a challenge in mind and they give SU colors, it was easier for me to look at my chart and get close. Glad it could help you or at least provide a starting point.
Although it’s Christmas color combos, check out Kristina Werner blog, Day 3 of Holiday cards. She has a free .pdf that gives lots of ink combos, for different companies…At least it gives you a little idea of what inks are similar in color..
Not a chart I can share sorry. I do 2 x 2 color swatching and for sure some colors are under more than one brand.
I do the same thing and agree with you that several colors are the same, under different brand names. I remember when I purchased Lawn Fawn Doe ink and after swatching realized it looked exactly like Gina K Designs Kraft ink. If not the exact same ink, they are very close. Since the pad lid and holder are identical, I think they are made in the same factory and they also have the same ink properties.
