After having my Create for almost a year, I JUST NOW figured out I could cut vinyl with it. I thought all along that you had to have an Expression to do it. I bought some vinyl and made the Cutest monogram glitter ornaments copying JoyJoy's tutorial. I am so very pleased.
There's a tutorial on the glitter ornaments. I can't remember when I saw the vinyl tutorial, but you could do a quick search and find something, I'm sure. Her ornaments are beautiful, though!
Guess I am a Cricut idiot also - hand raised! I couldn't figure out how to get the feature in the upper righhand corner of a feature to work. Someone told me - hit the shift button then the feature button then the main button. Duh - it's like hitting the shift key on a keyboard to get the capital letter/symbol to print. Don't know how much scrap paper/electricity I used (My Cricut must have wanted to 'yell' back at me - 'It's not my fault, it's yours!)
My Cricut and I have been communicating better lately. I have only had it since August but am really enjoying using it now that we are on speaking terms.
