Default Ikea must-haves?

Hello ladies! I will be in Atlanta at the end of the month and will be making my first trip to Ikea. Are there any absolute must-haves? Keep in mind, I will be flying so it will have to be packable. I'm so excited!!!

If anyone has any restaurant or other shopping suggestions, I would love to hear them. I will be staying in midtown, on Peachtree St.

TIA!!

A large available balance on your credit card! LOL

They have some fantastic storage boxes and things that are flat-packed so easy to throw in the suit case...

Not sure what you're looking for. A few things I like:

They have pretty and inexpensive magazine files.

I use these boxes for storing rolls of SU! grosgrain ribbon.

I'm planning on buying some of these wooden boxes. I'm pretty sure they're unassembled and flat when you buy them. So you could travel with them. And I've seen people decorate them beautifully with designer papers.

Have fun looking thru EVERYTHING. It's such a big store.

Those boxes do come flat packed! However, they are really heavy, so be careful when loading your suitcase back up - you may want to check your airline's weight limit for suitcases. My last airline charged $50 if you went over the weight limit.

My friend Donna did a really cool Altered magazine file with the ones from Ikea. I just thought it was so clever.

I have those boxes...and they are heavy and I have just a small one...when you et them I would ship them to yourself or send them via UPS to yourself this way your not having to worry about taking them on the plane

The big vehicle's even more important than the big credit limit! You can get a lot of stuff for not much moola but it takes a lot of space to haull it all home!

Off to check out the links to the altered items!
