where in the store were they? I went looking today and couldn't find them. I can check other stores but the lady I asked had no clue so I thought I'd ask here.

If you mean the heart tins with the top you can see through, I got mine on the bottom of the Valentine's display. If you mean the solid red tins, I saw them in the $1 section.
How much do they charge for the ones in the Valentine section? I saw that the ones in the bridal section were $19.99 for maybe 20? And you can use the 40% off coupon.

It's $19.99 but there are 30. Wish I'd had a coupon... I never seem to have one for Michael's when I need one!
Some of the Michael's stores will still give you the discount if you sign a sheet with your name and zip code. The one in Fargo does this.. You have to ask though. (Or make a comment that you forgot your coupon and could they still give you the discount.)

I think we might be talking about more than one kind of container - I was originally asking about the tins with lids you can see through, but I think I did see some other heart-shaped containers that were different. Sorry for the confusion!
I got the second one in a set of 30. The original price is $19.99, but I had a coupon for 50% off. Now I just have to get going on them for Valentine's Day.
