My sister and I both recently bought the Cuttlebug. We each bought several of the larger embossing folders to emboss the backgrounds for our cards, but we aren't sure what to do/ when to use the small embossing folders they offer.
I looked thru the gallery searching for any cards people have used these on and I have only found one so far!
Has anyone made a card and posted it, using some of the small Cuttlebug embossing folders? We'd love to see samples!
I posted this simple card a couple months ago. My only tip is to experiment with shims and the plates to get just the right pressure. You can just make out the outline of the folder on this card. On later runs I was able to get the image without the outline by tweaking the sandwich.

Thanks for helping!
I was wondering what to do with them too and would love to see samples!
I've been looking for new folders, but when I see the smaller ones, I just can't think of anything.
Here's an ATC that I did with the Stitiched Squares set, the only one I have. I wonder the same thing all the time. I'm definitely subscribing to this thread. Thanks for asking this great question!
I just ordered quite a few of the smaller embossing folders. My plan is to use parts of the folders and maybe punch or cut them out and mount on the cards. I'll subscribe to this thread and post pictures when I'm done with the card. Thanks for the question.

The "thanks" on Koopdedoo's first sample fits nicely on the largest of the four sliders. I cut the slider first, then emboss the thanks, then add with ribbon.
Thanks for posting this question. I was at Michaels yesterday and tried to figure out what I could do with them. I ended up getting a large embossing folder.
I have both the large and small embossing folders. I think of the large one's as dominating the card with a few accents; while the small ones make nice accents to a card.
Now I have to add some of these to my Joann's list. If only the rain would stop. It is not the rain right now, but the wind. I have a few errands to get done today, maybe the rain can slow down a little. Luckily one of my stops is right across from JoAnn's.
