Default I purchased a Cuttlebug

I'm the proud new owner of a Cuttlebug, which I've affectionately named "Beetle" (get it, a Beetle is a bug). Anyway, I'm just curious how you store your embossing folders and dies. Do you store them in a special container?

Congrats...you are gonna love it. I got a storage containter from OfficeMax. I print the name of the folder and put it on the top edge near the fold and stand them up...my goal is to keep them alphabetical but I catch myself just putting what I use in front...so far not staying alpha....welcome to the fun world of Cuttlebug...
Blessings.

Congratulations!! You're gonna love it!! I store my A2 folders standing up in a Longaberger basket. All of my 2x2's are standing up in a plastic utencil tray thingie. I like being able to flip through them without having to open anything and dig through all the other folders.
Good luck!!

I got a binder that zips closed on all sides from Cropstop.com. Inside, it is like a looseleaf binder and you purchase plastic sheets with pockets to hold the stuff. The binder has a lot of storage areas for your die cuts, etc. It comes in several colors.

They sell several sizes of storage sheets, all labeled on the site so you know which ones you need. For example, the ones for the Embossing Folders are bigger than the ones for the CB dies.

I have 2 of these binders now and I love them. NOTHING can fall out! :-D

I picked up a plastic basket at the dollar store that is 9"x13"x6"deep. I keep all my cuttlebug accessories in this basket, the A2 folders, die cuts (which are in CD cases), nesties (also in CD cases), all the plates, shims and embossing mat, I also have a tiny basket that holds the 2x2 folders. I keep this basket on top of one of my shelves beside the Cuttlebug. You are going to love using your Cuttlebug.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing it with us

I am storing my Cuttlebug folders in their original packaging and I have them in a drawer, but I like your idea much better.

To the op: Congratulations on the purchase of your Cuttlebug! You are going to love it! And I love the nick name 'Beetle'...LOL

I use one of the $3 cardboard photo storage boxes you can buy at most craft stores (the ones that come in pretty colors and designs). I made little divider tabs out of cheap cardstock to separate them and make it easy to find the exact one I am looking for. They fit perfectly, and once the lid is on they store neatly on my shelf and are easy to transport to a friends house to play.

I keep mine in the clamshells too. But I did recently see someone's cute altered tin that she uses to store them in.. complete with tabbed dividers. I'm always looking for something to alter!

I keep my folders and dies in a photo box and it's working well so far... well until I take the ones out of the packages that I just purchased...hmmm

Enjoy "Beetle"
