Default I made an envelope! Scor-Pal!

I cannot access the Scor-Pal site, but had to jump and down and share my joy. I just got my Scor-Pal and I had to try to make my own A2 envelope. WOW! It was so easy and it worked perfectly on my first try! I am planning on making my own different sized envelopes, so cannot wait to play around some more. Of course, I will be doing some cards too, but I really got this to make envelopes! I like weird sized cards and it is hard finding the perfect envelope.

What a great invention! I love this thing!

 Any ideas why I cannot access the Scor-Pal site and start a thread to ask questions? It tells me I am not allowed. I am a SCS member.

I've been wanting to try one of these out so that I can make envelopes too. Not to mention some embossed lines on my cards like I've seen in the gallery. I'm glad to hear that it's easy to make. Hope my lss has some so that I can see them IRL to make my final decision.

I think this is something that I may want to purchase. Can someone tell me how Scor-Pal works and what I can do with it? Thanks!

Here is a link to the tutorial and it even gives you a "print PDF" option: http://www.scor-pal.com/envelope/index.htm

I love my Score-Pal. I don't think you'd have any regrets if you purchased it without seeing it in person...

Two things I MOST love about it (although there are a lot more!)

1. You don't have to keep moving your paper to make several score lines across your paper...once it's lined up it stays lined up.

2. The scoring tool is self-storing. OK, maybe not a big deal for some of you, lol, but my bone folders ALWAYS get up and walk away from me. The Score-Pal's tool just snaps into its spot on the board. Awesome...

Yet even still I still manage to lose mine! Need to remember to put it back when I am done! Seriously I love the score pal and I use it on every card now! It just makes the folds so crisp!

Well, I clicked on the link and saw the tutorial.

Now, can anyone share how much it costs, and where you can buy it?

I love mine, and making envelopes with it is what pushed me over the edge to buy it! One thing I have enjoyed is that I had huge blocks of scrapbook paper I bought and never used because I didn't like it well enough for my cards - and I had about three big blocks of it. I now use that paper to make envelopes for my cards! I just mailed one this morning! It is so fast and easy. I have several templates but I was tired of always having to do SO MUCH cutting every time I needed a set of envelopes, and I do usually make a lot at the time. The Scor-Pal makes it soooo easy.

I love my Score-Pal too! One of the best purchases I ever made. I use my old "Stack" scrapbooking papers to make envelopes too. I have many left over papers and the weight is perfect for envelopes. One thing I want to try and haven't yet is the boxy envelope that has extra room for thicker cards. I love that you can do that with it!

I just checked that. On most of the other Member Company forums I can start a new thread. But not on Scor-Pal. Perhaps they are each set up with different perimeters.

wait, you can do envelopes and boxey envelopes with the scor-pal? Why didn't I know that? Those two things are why I was contemplating buying that envelope maker board. I would WAY rather have a scor-pal!

Thanks for telling me.

I LOVE my Scor-Pal for making matching envelopes! It's also very easy to eyeball where the scores should be on the top and bottom, so the "complicated" formulas aren't really an issue for me (I'm measuring challenged!).

I ordered a Scor-Pal and it's carrying tote Monday and it just arrived in today's mail, can't believe it came that fast and now can't wait to get out of work so I can go home and play with it.

When you use your blocks of SB paper, do you put the print side out, or in? I wasn't sure if the post office would take a completely decorated envelope, even with a white label for the address.

Also, does anyone have a template for an envelope to hold a 6x6 card? I tried folding one out of a 12x12 piece of paper. It came out okay, but crooked. I need better measurements.

I ordered the Scor-Pal primarily for envelopes too, and it should be arriving any day now! I ordered mine from 7kidscollegefund.com. Can't wait to play with my new toy!

I am loving my scor-pal too! I got it at my favorite LSS w/a coupon right after the CK convention in Manchester, NH; I was hoping to buy it at the convention, but no luck! Since then, the three LSS's in my vicinity have started selling them; I made 2 double pocket bags the weekend I got it, and have used it on every card since! I'm a lefty so I can't get used to putting the tool back in it's spot (on the right hand side), LOL! I'm going to check that link for the envies!

Question about the envelopes? What kind of adhesive do you use to close the envelope? Is there something out there besides the red line tape. I would like to use these with cards to sell so it needs to be professional looking. Thanks.
