My mother gave me a gift card to Michael's for my birthday. This week's Michael's flier had a 50% off coupon, so I went yesterday and got the Cuttlebug for $40! It came with a die cut and 4 embossing folders, and I picked up a few more to start with. So far, it works great! I can't wait to make a card with it!

Good for you! I just got mine on Friday and so far I love it! So easy to use. I only have 3 embossing folders and I've made some panels for cards but I haven't had time this weekend to make any cards yet. Now if only the Nestabilities that I ordered would hurry up and get here.

It's My New Best Friend!!!
I've had mine for about 1 1/2 months, I love it! I have bought way too much stuff for it lately. I have some small embossing folders, A2 embossing folders, 2x2 dies, 3x3 dies, 2x6 dies and cuttlekid dies (including an alphabet). I bought a zipper binder and storage sleeves from CropStop to keep everything in one place. I also bought a full set of square Nesties and have the full set of circles on the way.
I was going to keep it just for embossing but there are so many cool things you can do once you start cutting with the bug. I have been making my own felt flowers using the 2x2 Asterisks and 2x6 Flowers dies and $0.29 felt squares from Michael's. Then I bought some chipboard and started cutting that up too with flowers and letters. I'm having so much fun with it!

Hi Ellen.. you are a August baby? I just got 2 giftcards for my b'day.. each was for $40 (my over the hill age). When you get giftcards for the amt. of your age..50 or 60..didn't sound like a horrible age..haha.. But I'll still w/ 40 for now..

Super congrats to you! I've had my bug for going on 2 years now and absolutely love it! If you have an AC Moore near you, check out their clearance section. I happened to find 3 cuttlebug alphabets on clearance for $20! I exercised great restraint and only bought one.
