I received a totally unexpected PM from Diana last night, asking me if I owned the new Scor-Pal. I replied that I owned the original. Her reply back to me?
"A Merry Christmas gift from Scor-Pal...I would like to send you a new one. What is your address? Diana"
I replied with my address, also telling her that I work for Head Start, a school for underpriviledged 3-4 year old children, and that I would donate my old one to Head Start, that it would be great for the childrens' fine motor skills.
Today I rec'd another PM from Diana, thanking me for Paying It Forward, and that she is sending me another Scor-Pal (early version) to donate to the school.
How cool is that!!! What a treat from this wonderful member company of SCS. Diana, may be blessings you send forth be returned to you a hundred fold!
Many, many thanks.

Diana contacted me, too! I am so excited to get the new Scor-Pal. That is really neat about donating one to Head Start. My friend works at our local Head Start, I think I will ask her if she wants my older model Scor-Pal. Great idea!!

I did as well - my old scor-pal will be going to my grandmother who is just learning how to make cards! I am very excited. What an unexpected, wonderful present. Thank you, Diana!
Congrats! I bought my own new one for Christmas, lol. I haven't decided what to do with the old one- it works great, of course, I just really wanted more lines!
I'll be getting my NEW one (a gift to myself) for my birthday in 4 months & donate mine to one of my friends who doesn't have one...that's what I did the last time a new one came out. It feels great to make someone's day!
Hi, what is so great about this thing? I don't mean to be negative, but can someone enlighten me? Is there somewhere I can buy it inexpensively or see a tutorial? I would assume that it is great to use when making boxes or scoring items that you cut out of the Cricut. Thanks!
Oh, so many more uses than boxes and scoring Cricut items. I score a full sheet of paper, then cut it to make 2 A2 sized cards. If you want a professional looking card, scoring is an absolute must. Plus you can place your card front face down, score lines on it to give texture and interest without added bulk. This is absolutely one of my go-to tools on every card I make. Plus if you want to add dp or cardstock to your card front to completely cover the front, turn the Scor-Pal with the top facing you. Put your card in the corner; you can place your dp perfectly! Check out Welcome to Scor-Pal! for a multitude of ideas.

I saw the ScorPal in a magazine so I called the number on the website. I talked to Diana directly. She was explaining how to use it while I looked at the device on my computer screen. When I told her where I lived, she immediately looked up locations where I could buy it in my area.
I have also talked to her husband when everyone was havig problems with the scoring tool. He returned my call at 8:30 p.m. - we are both in the same time zone.
Just tell me any company that you can call and talk directly with the owner - I bet there aren't very many! Both she and her husband believe in good customer service. I think the new ScorPal is the original with improvement because they listened to what their customers requested.
I have the ScorBuddy and don't plan on buying the new ScorPal just yet. Love both of them and use them ALL the time.
Diana has done a few similar things for me in the past...she has such a giving heart...very special person.
blessings.
I too was the recipient of one of Diana's gifts of the original Scor-Pal. Totally unexpected. How nice that there are wonderful people "out there" who share.
