$80 for a scrapbook that I am going to spend more money filling up? MS has lost her mind. I guess she is trying to make up for lost time in prison. I would never buy a scrapbook for that much. (Just my 2 cents)
We were at Michael's too to check out Martha's line. Not impressed at all. We saw the 18x18 papers and wondered what in the world you would need such huge paper for. Never saw the 18x18 scrapbooks. $80 for a scrapbook?!?! No way would I pay that!

Doesn't the 18x18 come with page protectors in it? I agree that it's HUGE, but I think it fills a niche for portraits, newspaper articles, etc. as were mentioned before.
I have my eye on the papers for times when you need longer than 12x12 (book covers, etc.). The point about the 12" trimmers is very important though! I'd have to haul out my cutting mats from quilting and go at it like fabric! Soon my crafts really will take over the whole house!!
OH! That would explain the 18x18 paper. I didn't see the books & wondered what do you do with that HUGE paper? I was thinking I need that size paper for kid crafts when you need to cut something big, but not at Martha's prices! The papers are on sale this week I saw in the Michael's ad.
Yes they are large. Where would you store one? Once you got it full of pictures and etc. It would be rather heavy. I'll stick to my 12x12 albums.
I'm wondering if she intends them to be coffee-table books. I know we (CM) tell people to stand them upright to avoid abrasion, but I know I don't have a shelf in my house that would hold an 18x18.

just think if that scrapbook fell off the shelf. I don't think my 5 year old would survive let alone my toes.
I do like that she has things coordinated, no one else does that I can't find matching paper & envelopes.
I think that the big 18 x 18 paper would be perfect for making boxes & tins because I always end up using more then a 12 x 12.
that might give me extra room without lining up the design correctly(that takes forever).... But that is all I would probably buy from her.
Well I'm sure everyone else is thinking the same thing on that size scrapbook. where would you store it never mind the paper. I doubt it will be there for long. maybe in a month or 2 from now when noone purchases them . they'll get rid of that size and lower the cost.
I wasn't very impressed with her stuff either. The paper bags she has for kids is cute ,But I wouldn't spend the money on it when I can make something like that myself from a craft magazine. There's really nothing of hers I have to have.
