Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on how to tie a pretty bow and how to tie a nice looking knot. What am I doing wrong? It seems like my knots and bows always turn out crappy. Any advice will be very appreciated. If you have pictures/tutorials, that'd be swell!
Don't know how much overlap you'll find, but a lot of different bow and knot tying tutorials have been posted in this thread: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I just had to share this link to tying a knot by Kristina Werner. The little trick of pulling a little harder on the left side has made all the difference for me when tying a knot. Check out her tutorial:

Thank you lisahenke for the link. I had seen it before and last week I did all kind of searches without any luck. I eventually tied a knot that I liked, but now I have saved the link in my favorites. Thanks again!

I have a tutorial on my blog that is a little different than the others and saves a little ribbon if you have layers. don't mind the finished card, it's pretty hideous! LOL
Morning Star Stamps sells a "bow-easy" on their website under accessories. ($5.00) My friend bought it when we went to the Stamp Scrap Art Tour 2 weeks ago and now she swears by it.
Back during HCA at the end of someone's video they showed how to tie a bow using a fork. I thought I bookmarked it but now can't find it. It was precious. It was on Utube but I can't find it again to save my soul. It was really cute too.
