Just wondering, for those of you who use the sStampin Scrub Pads, how often you change them? Do you wash your pads? I've had some ickyness with my white and gold Colorbox ink leaving residue on other stamps. I tried washing once, but it didn't seem to come back to its previous life.
I've been using mine since I signed up nearly three years ago. I do rinse it (well, them because I have multiples) every time I use it but haven't replaced one yet.
When I use a messy ink, I try to stamp it off well onto paper or paper towels before I clean it on my scrub.
You could try a little bit of dish soap if yours is really yucky. I've also heard that many run them thru the dishwasher but don't use the heated drying cycle.
I have 3 and have not replaced them. When I use craft, chalk, or metallic inks and they're gunky, I put them in the top rack of my dishwasher and don't let them heat dry. I air dry them. They do curl up a little but they pop right back into the holders pretty well.

Like the others have shared, if your scrib is getting icky, just give it a wash. Unless the pads have lost their nap, there shouldn't be a need to change the pads. They can easily be removed and washed by running under warm water. In addition, I have added a few drop of liquid dish soap which I rubbed in with my fingers. Then, continue rinsing until the water runs clear.
I ran some warm water and a few drops of soap into my sink and let them soak for a couple of minutes. Then scrubbed them real good and let them run under clean water. I let them air dry propped up against the wall on a stack of paper towels. I noticed that at first there was a lot of color still in there so I rinsed them 2 more times before finishing. I made sure to do this on a weekend when I didn't have time to do any stamping so that I wouldn't go crazy not being able to use them, KWIM?
I don't worry about my scrub pads being thoroughly dry before I use them again. It wouldn't hurt to use them with the cleaner while the pads are still a little damp. Also, if I use craft ink, epecially on a bg stamp, I rinse the stamp under the faucet so the ink doesn't gunk up the scrub pad.
