I just emailed my demo and ordered 2 more packs of the Cool Carribean cardstock and an ink refill for it. I am wondering if I might have wanted more, but have to think that I really like new new colors.
Oh, it's so hard to tell! I used the cranberry and tyme at x-mas a lot, and Carribbean has been on of my all-time favs. I just placed an order of 6 packs of Carribbean, and made sure I ordered so I had 2 of each other colors, but who knows how much is enough?!?!??!! I am hoping Soft Sky will be similar enough to it that I don't have a complex when I run out! But, who knows! I can't wait to have the In colors in my hands to check it out!
I just purchased two packs of each color cardstock with the ink pads and reinkers. Thinking of getting more cardstock.
My problem is that I didn't buy the In Colors until now. Not sure how much I want to stock up. I don't want to run out of cardstock and still have lots of ink left.
Plus I do like the new In Colors coming in July. Will have to make the purchase of those colors early, that way I will know which of those colors I really like and will want to sock up on.
I bought three packages each of cool caribbean, true thyme, and cranberry crisp. I also bought an additional reinker for each of those three colors and an additional spool of stitched ribbon for true thyme and cranberry crisp.
I have 6 packs of cool caribbean and two each of thyme and cranberry. I probably won't buy the in colors again because I like to know I can always get more. I do like the pomegranate though.
I *think* I will buy one more pack of cool caribbean.
My question is, do I buy cranberry crisp? I haven't bought any other in colors, so I am not really sure what the true color is. I am also wondering about the violet one.
So, should I, should I???????

Looks like I beat ya all! I have (this is embarassing) 11 packs of cool caribbean and one opened, 8 packs of buckaroo blue and one opened, 1 true thyme and one opened, 5 cranberry crisp and one opened, one opened vintage violet and an opened pack of assorted plus one unopened. Can you tell I am having a hard time letting go? ;)
So far, I have 5 packs of MM, 2 packs of CC, and two of the other colors. I'm thinking I'll be buying more of the VV. I love that color now that I've used it. I like all of the current in colors, except BB - that blue just didn't appeal much to me. MM is by far my absolute favorite, though.
I wish I could see the new In colors before I decide to buy the old In colors. I just finished buying all of the 48 colors. I'm not sure I want to put myself through the pain of ordering the old then falling in love with them and not being able to order more. I wish they would keep the 06' for one more year.
What should I do?
I have 2 of each of the old In Colors. Inks and reinkers......but Ladies the NEW In Colors are wonderful!!!!!!!My moms a demo and she showed me the new stuff......oh boy! I have already put an order in for all the new in color stuff.
I'm so happy I found this thread, because now I don't feel so bad I always get SUCH a panic when things are retired. Last night I was using the Lilac and C. Caribbean, and thought "I MUST get more. It'll soon be gone. It'll be gone and nothing can ever replace it. What if I NEVER find a color I like as much as this? I MUST get more. How much more? Do I buy enought to last two years? What if it takes three years for SU to come up with a color I like just as much. I want to buy more. Hmmm...how much do I spend to stock up on more? Why does it have to retire. Must get more." (all that was going through my head in 2.4 seconds). So today all I can think aobut is placing another order to stock up on retiring colors. I took another look at the new In Colors, and realized I like those two blues just as much (from what I see in the preview), and may even like them more when I see them in person (hopefully my preorder is here by Thursday.) Wow, change sucks. But then they come up with something better, and I've forgot my worries over the retiring color.
Now, how much CC should I order?

It's a tough spot we are in:(. I personally love the Cool Caribbean, Cranberry Crisp, and True Thyme. I bought 3 packs of Cool caribbean cardstock, a reinker, and the inkpad. I'm thinking of buying one more pack of cardstock. The cranberry crisp and true thyme will probably be my Christmas cardstock so I have 4 cardstock, a reinker, inkpad, and an extra ribbon of both. But is it enough? Ack! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one in this dilemma!
Just FYI, CTMH "Breeze" looks very similar to cool caribbean to me. However, I would surely stock up on the actual color while you have a chance if that is what you prefer. But down the road, you could consider CTMH breeze as a replacement.
I just want to double check, we still cannot buy the 12x12 In color in solid packs of one color, just the multi pack, correct? if I missed something, would someone point me to the product numbers for it? thanks.

I LOVE SU colors, tho never bought any of the "in colors" until recently - wanted to purchase the cranberry crisp ink pad, but received the paper instead. I did purchase the Marigold Morning ink. I'm bad - just use a big, solid stamp and take the paper copy to Recollections (or another REALLY GOOD scrapbooking store) and get the Bazill or whatever brand has a solid color that works. I've got so much paper already (even lots of non-SU) that I need to use. So, I'm all for getting different colored ink!
I have 4 packs of CC and I'm ordering 8 more. I absolute love it! None of the others were to die for. I already purchased several re-inkers. I think the new INCOLORS are more to die for and I can't wait!
One of my best friend thinks Cranberry Crisp looks like dried blood. Since she gave me that mental picture I can't seem to use it anymore!
I'm with you and some of the others. I went to an SU party on Sunday an ordered 3 packs of Cool Caribbean and one reinker (I have one unopened reinker). I might just get more before the end of the month, too. I LOVE that color so much, and the way I see it as even if the new In Colors are awesome and have something similar, it won't take the place of how I feel about CC. It's a shame they're getting rid of it, you know? It's very popular. I wish they'd keep it and ADD to it.... 12x12 paper, markers, stampin' spots, craft pad, etc.
I decided not to do any heavy stocking up on the current In Colors. I figure that I'll be too busy playing around with the new In Colors to lament the retirement of the old ones. Also, I figure that if I really really want more Cool Caribbean (not my favorite) or Vintage Violet (my favorite) I'll be able to find some on e-bay. I'm sure that some you ladies buying ten packages of your favorites will be willing to part with some in a few years.
I have the marigold morning, true thyme, cranberry crisp, and cool carribean ink pads. Should I purchase the ink refills or not??
How long will the pad last without the refill? Or should I spend the $10 and get them?
It depends on how much you use the pads, of course. I would get the reinkers if you love the colors. If you make Christmas ornaments, everyone will be doing glass balls with reinkers and future floor wax in November. You wouldn't want to miss out on that cranberry and thyme, would you? ;)
