Just wondering of how anyone store their cards? I take a couple of classes a month and would like to keep them in a place. So really don't want to use them only to look at them again when I want to copy the card. There is a website that I found on this website and I can't think of the name of it right now. They sell pages that you can put the cards in it. Have anyone brought from there? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I keep all of my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards in a narrow filing drawer that you can find in a office supply store - it is deep and they fit perfectly and I have them filed according to theme. Anything larger gets stored in a clear storage box and I routinely go through and clean them out - donating to anyone who wants some
What about the 6x6 recipe cards? I was involved in alot of those swaps last year, and nto sure how to store them and still be able to use them in the kitchen.
I put mine in binders. I have a binder for convention and then a binder for "mailed" swaps and other cards. They are BIG 4" binders. I get the polaroid pages from Century photo.
I coulda sworn I saw them on the stamping bella site for sale for $2 something each, but I can't seem to find it again. Maybe it was somewhere else. The page protectors for 3 ring binders, I really thought I saw them there, darn it:(
For the Recipe Cards, I would be tempted to laminate them if possible, with hole punches through the plastic laminate top, and then use binder rings and chipboard to make a flip stand. Something that you can stand on an angle and flip to the one you want. Does that make any sense? However, not sure if you could laminate them, depends on the embellishments. Alternatively, you could laminate plain paper in the same way, and then mount the cards on top iykwim.
I just got lucky and one of the card stores in the mall that i work at is closing so i was able to buy one of there upright spinning postcard holders. It has 60 slots and i can finally get them out of shoe boxes and put them in sections according to events.. It cost me 30.00 they had a double wide spinnng regular card rack that held normal size cards and it was only 50.00 but i choose the little one... I have been looking at them online and more expensive so i got lucky for a change...

cropstop.com has the binder pages to hold your cards.
I also use the cropper hopper large drawers to store mine, in the plastic envelopes I get at uniquepacking on ebay. The drawers are a bit much...14.99 for 1 drawer, but use a coupon, and they do hold quite a few cards.
I put my up for display in my studio for a week or so, then mail them out. That way I don't have to store them and I know they bring someone else a smile.

I have a card box I bought from Current just for this purpose. One that is filed by holiday and one that files but events. I also go through them and donate what I can't use.
I use an altered lunchbox, but also dont have very many stored. Not sure that would be great if you have a ton to store, altho several photo boxes would fit.

I have a whole pile of the pages you put in a notebook and each page holds 4 of the standard size cards on EACH side. I would be happy to mail these to anyone who wants them for just the postage. I think they would all fit in a flat rate priority envelope for $4.95.
Blessings.

Thank you for all of your ideas on how to store your cards.
Amber I would like some of your pages.
Sally;)
I use the clip it system inserting each card in a clear sleeve and clipping the sleeve so I don't mess up the card. I label the dividers so I can quickly turn to a category.
I also have a three-ring binder and pages purchased from Century Photo that holds four cards per side. I put all the card exchanges that we do at our monthly SU meetings.
I was looking at the cropstop website and they have two different kinds. They have the heavy weight, and the normal. Does anyone know how much of a difference there is between them? I'm extremely interested in ordering these, but would like an idea of the weight. how do they compare to normal sheet protectors?
I keep my cards in the boxes my ink pad families came in.
I am planning to get some recipe card stands from Bingham Woodcrafts for my recipe cards. I don't have the link on this computer, but I got the link from another SCS thread.
