Default How do you clean acrylic stamps?

I was using a stamp tonight and used my SU stampin' mist and now it is yellow.

Any suggestions? Do they always turn yellow?

TIA

I usea diluted cleaner solution, Maybe a little Mr Clean in water and put it in a spray bottle. Wipe off with an old wash cloth.

Some acrylic stamps do turn yellow :( To clean acrylic stamps I use "Ultra Clean". My mom picked me up a bottle of it a while ago and I've been using it ever since. It's good for rubber stamps as well.

My friend Cathy carries some of it in her store if you wanna check it out -

Don't worry about the color of a clear stamp, as long as it continues to be in good condition and stamps cleanly. In fact, stained clear are better for me as I am less likely to lose them.

I clean them with water. Ultra clean leaves a greasy feel and then I have to clean them with water anyway. Just spritz the water on the scrub pad and gently clean. Then rub on a dry scrub pad. If they are small stamps, be careful, or they will fly off the acrylic block.

I use a cleaner from CTMH and its designed for Clear stamps but then I use it to clean all of my stamps

Also the discoloration comes from the kind of ink you use. But I don't worry about it either I just keep stamping away.

clear stamps will get dis-coloration, or coloration with use. Most likely they will become yellowish. It's normal!

As for cleaning, I use baby wipes.

I use baby wipes and so far not a single yellowed stamp... Of course, I only have the high-quality photopolymer stamps. Some of the cheaper stamps are made from a lower quality substance and will yellow easily.
