Hi!
I have MTC, and I love it! I don't have SCAL, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I've picked up the program pretty easily and am having so much fun!
I would download the trial version, take a peek at the forum, and maybe watch one of the tutorial videos.
I have MTC and SCAL, both full versions. I prefer SCAL big time over MTC. Even though it has nice features I find SCAL easier to use and more user friendly. MTC has all these images and you have to remember what they do (no words).. but some people like that, I just don't!
I have MTC; have never tried SCAL so can't give a comparison. I'm not very tech savvy, but have been able to use the program. With increasing use, I've been able to try learn new ways to take advantage of what it has to offer. There are a lot of SVG files (free and for purchase), which makes it attractive for me.
Thanks guys! no questions yet not very tech savvy .. So I just wanted everyones frist opinons .......... I have been check'n out the web site and tutorials just waiting to get enough Courage to order it.. does it work with Vista??
I have used both and MTC is so much better (IMO) than SCAL. It cuts images more accurately (this is a big deal with fonts) and for the most part is more user friendly as well. My only complaint about is that there are two icons that look like scissors. One is to cut with your cricut, the other is the cut function (like cut/paste). There were a few instances when I would click the wrong one, but now i'm used to them so it's not a big deal.
OMG! I cannot belive how helpful you all are over here! Thank you! I hope I haven't unleashed a monster.. I have been checking all the tutorials and the blogs you have metioned but I am not finding if I get this would I need the program inkscape? and I would only need design studio to update my cricut corrcet?
