I borrowed my DIL's Cricut and it was working fine but today it won't cut. I have it on Max pressure. I don't know what happened.

Oh boy. This is a huge bummer, both for you and for your DIL. Try the following:

1. Make sure that the power source is completely connected to the baack of the machine and then to the wall.
2. Double check the blade: could it be in upside down? Make sure that it is in right. (Usually when a sewing machine doesn't work, it's the needle. Could be the case here, except it's a blade.)
3. Turn off the machine and take out the cartridge. Turn all dials up, then down. Then set the dials the way you want them. Turn on the machine. Firmly insert the cartridge. Does it show up on the display?
4. Check www.cricut.com or call: 1-877-727-4288

Good luck. Post here when you get it fixed.

Thanks for your replies. I discovered that some "little hands" had changed the setting on the dial at the blade. I set it back to 4 and it worked just fine.
Whew!!!!!!!
