Hi there --
what kind of program are you using to re-size? Often times, even in word, when you open the image, if you click on it- a box will form around it, and you can 'drag' a corner to make the image larger.
I use Photoshop Elements and us the 'resize' function. There are some good free photo editing programs out there like Picassa that you could try.
Melissa from Pink Cat Studio has a couple of quick tutorials on her new digi stamp site that may help you if you are using word...here's the link to her store - (forgive me as the site is blocked here at work, I can't exactly direct you to where the tutorials are -- but they are on there!)
The one I ordered didn't give me an option in how to open it. A wizard opened and as I went through it, it is what is used to print photos. You can make an 8x10, two 5x7, etc. I couldn't cut and paste to a word document either. When I printed it, part of the picture was cut off.
I open a new document in Word and insert a picture.
In Word 07 - click the picture so that there is a frame around it and the menu for editing the picture should pop-up on top. Under the "Arrange" section, pull down the menu for Text wrapping and choose "In Front of Text". Now you can move the image about your page and resize it. To re-size it, click on one of the corners of the frame and either pull in to make it smaller or pull out to make it larger. Using the corners instead of the sides keeps the ratio of the image, so it does not end up too wide or too tall and distorted.
In Word 03 - after you have inserted the picture, right-click on the image and choose "picture editing menu" or something like that (I am doing this part from memory - my home pc that runs 03 is in the shop right now.) There are tabs at the top of this box that comes up - I think it is the 2nd or 3rd tab over. You will see lots of boxes with a dog in it on this tab with different text wrapping options. Select "In Front of Text" and click ok. You can close this menu. Now you can move the picture to where you want it on your page and resize it by grabbing one of the corners and either pulling in or out.
When I am done, I save it, so I can print that sheet as many times as needed!
Hope this helps!
