WOW!!! mahalo much all of you. oh yes I call her more angel then I do joanne ... have a clue why? lol but im glad for each and everyone of you!!!don't forget you been doing very helpful as well!!! so much so that my garage hunter wants a pop box card like my grandbaby's 1 with Monster High.. what is this with High on Monsters? lol gosh a good reminder I have to be making my bag toppers... But yes Im getting soooooo much Inspiration from you loving caring and wonderful ladies I love the sisterhood here!! I was kind of feeling bad and at a lost when she gave them to me...my thoughts were that this guy just pitched her a sale!!! that's a bad thought but as its been posted here as well so many less then honorable people ... but we live and learn..as I have been new to this site but I have learned and met soo many amazing honest and honorable creative minds and souls .. I feel so blessed and its all because of all of you. Gosh yes it sure is expensive.... she paid $2 bux for them both ... though I didn't want to hurt her feelings and tell her I think its for leather was my original thought but because it was a gift I was taught at a very young age to be very thankful... and I always am , more for her then the gifts I felt so bad at not knowing what to do with it I offered to pay her the $2 she paid thinking the guy was pushing this off on her . LOL I guess the joke was on me this time huh? I will have my friend to keep a eye out on more of them and be sure to share if she gets lucky... so far I feel im the 1 that's getting lucky!! and yes when I do make something I will share. now I have to put my cleaning back some and some other things and get on putting her request 1st ~wink~ again much Mahalo all!!

yes very good tips..... thought these stamps was done for but I refused to not try to save them and with everyone's help here ... they will be loved to heaven!! lol .. well here they are cleaned as best as I can get them (half of them)..... 1 of them I think whoever had them before me tried using glitter glue as ink (YIKES) so I will have to keep scrubbing that 1 or hope the image is still useable..some was done about 5x most came looking close to new! some still got a ways...and about 2 or 3 came off the block I was scrubbing so hard lol or the simple green soaking for 15- 30 mintues lifted them off the block as for the block its like it was put nicely.. bear it and grin... im just happy everyone was so nice and helpful to save them Much Mahalo

Am I the only one that cleans my stamps with baby wipes? I love these and they are so inexpensive. I have tried the more costly cleaners and don't see the point in paying more for the same result.

Actually, Simple Green is inexpensive compared to stamping cleaners---it comes in concentrated form. I have used Baby Wipes, but I have found they leave fuzz on my stamps---

I agree and I too get fuzz from baby wipes. At my summer home I use a spray of simple green & a spray of water on a flat paint pad for my stamp cleaning pad. Works great!;)

You did a great job cleaning them Glad it worked!

Some stains just never come out...someday I would love a thread that speaks to which companies have rubber that cleans easily. Definitely some do much better than others-including within the red rubber group.

I too have a stamp that some user must have used a glue on and didnt clean immediately. It is still shiny and after many cleanings it is finally only slightly tacky now. It seems to stamp ok but I havent really worked with it yet. I may try Goo gone or goof off on it just to see what happens. It isnt a rare stamp.
