Help: Art Accentz Beads

Hi:

I recently bought micro beads by Art Accentz. I cannot open the container. I removed the scotch tape. The container is very stout and wide. I am afraid beads will be flying everywhere. I am at the point of smashing the container and storing the beads in something else. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I am working on a project that I want to finish tonight.

I could not rest until I open this container. I had to use my husband's vise grip to open it.
