Very intriguing- beautiful element for cards, but also useful for Department 56 village setups (Mother's Day present for my mom), & train setups (Birthday for my brother). Some of it resembles dung though, so I don't know how realistic I would want some elements to be! LOL!
I have used some of what you are showing and their chunky glass shards - the stuff is fantastic and gives your project a very unique look. I've used it as accents on the cover of mini albums.

I bought some, and they do look cool...BUT...some of them have a pretty strong odor that I'm having a bit of trouble getting past. One of the ones I got (Meadow?) smells like one of those gourmet dried herb dip mixes. Not a bad smell really, it's just that I don't really want my cards to smell like dip. I really like the one called Tailings, though. It's a funky mix of gold glitter and little chunky nuggets and it's low odor.
this almost looks like potpourri put through a blender, wonder if that would also work.
It's hard to come up with uses for it, maybe a dirt road, bark on a tree stamp,
fence, straw etc.
of course the shipping has to be considered
