Question Has anyone experience with the Silhouette Mint?

Am wondering if anyone has any experience and comments about their experience with the Silhouette Mint that makes stamps from line drawings or photographs or fonts from the computer? Must you use only their inks, for example? And their paper?

I have it. It's really cool. You don't have to use any special paper, but it does require their ink. It's a pre-inked stamp. Once you "print" the stamp, you ink it and it has a cover that you keep on it. It's not a foam stamp. I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks, Stampinhil - I'm actually asking the question for my GDIL who recently bought a Mint. I'm glad you're satisfied with it...I've forwarded your answer to Marissa. She has the scs address but may not be able to navigate it just yet.

I've not tried this yet, but I think you can use Versamark. You'd have to color with embossing powder or use for watermarking. I stumbled upon a blog showing the results, and it worked perfectly. I would think it works because Versamark ink has a similar constancy to the Mint inks.
