Default Has anyone bought a CRICUT over the TV for $49 plus shipping????

I mean, I know if a deal is too good to be true it's too good to be true ---- but there have been infomericals on TV that show a Cricut with cartridges for a ridiculously low price. Anyone want to make it easier for me to ignore the ads ??????

Default CRICUT commercials

I bought one in December. I thought it was a good deal too. It's 5 payments of $49.00. I went ahead and bought it anyway cause I couldn't buy one outright. Plus you get an additional sampler cartridge, spatuala and extra blades. It's fun. Hope that helps.

What I heard was that when you read the fine print, its $49 then after 30 days or something its like 4+ more payments of $49...yes, it's too good to be true. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!!

Thanks you guys. I think I knew all along that there was more to the story. Guess I'll do without for a little longer and just enjoy looking at what you guys do with yours and post in the gallery. Sigh.

My Mom just bought me one last night via the website for the TV ad. It comes with $100 in extra bonuses. I believe she paid the whole cost at once but it might be more affordable for someone to just make the payments on it instead of $200+ outright. IDK. I guess it's all a matter of opinion. BTW. Anyone know how long shipping takes, about?

Hey I love those Magic Bullet commercials. BTW, where north of Pittsburgh do you live? We are thinking about moving there.

My friend bought one the day after Thanksgiving at Michael's for $129. Maybe it will be worth the wait to see if it goes on sale again this year!

My husband bought it for me after watching the infomercial on an overnight shift at Christmas time. I love it!

I saw that infomercial too. I thought, wow!, how could they sell them for $49 when they are close to $200 at the store. So I went to their website and found out that the $49 was just a down payment and that there were 3 or 4 additional payments. Oh Well.
