Did anyone see the little round metal containers with the M&M symbol on them in the $1.00 section at Michael's? They came in red, yellow, blue, orange, green and brown. I bought a bunch in orange. I'm gonna cover them for Halloween and fill them with candy corn.
I saw some of those a few weeks ago. I only bought a few in my kids' favorite colors. If I wasn't so far behind in working on altering my other containers, I probably would have bought more as part of teacher gifts and such. I thought they were adorable.
I saw those M&M ones, but there were only 5 orange ones (I wanted them for Stamp Club in September to do a Halloween theme), so instead I bought 13 of the bigger ones in a discounted rack (at only 50 cents apiece!) and will spraypaint the lids orange and then decorate with the Creepy Crawly paper and Batty for You stamp set. I got the idea from stampersim here:
Know what else I found there? Stuff to work with the Boho stamps and papers! Four different styles of ribbon, notebooks with kerchief patterns in red and blue, funky stamps with ceramic mounts (they look like they're supposed to look like cookie dough stamps with that handle, but the stamps are rubber, not ceramic.) that come in a sherrif's badge as well as a few different styles. Other stuff that I can't think of right now.
