Can anyone recommend a thin-type glue that's as good as the Gina K Connect? There seems to be a real shortage of it right around now. I know Simon Says Stamp has it. I must say, it really does hold things better than a lot of glues I've used. And I've tried a lot!!
I have not used GinaK Connect, so can’t compare to it, but I will give a shout-out for Tonic glue. It has a fine applicator tip, smooth flow, dries fast. Not a lot of wiggle room, though, if you need that. If you remove the gem from the top of the lid, it will stand flat on its lid so the glue is always at the top of the bottle. I purchase a few at a time when they are on sale so I usually have a backup.
Second the vote for the Tonic Nuvo Deluxe. I've tried others but this one performs the best for me. The applicator tip is the perfect size and the glue never leaves that raised look like some do. I've never seen them on sale (unfortunately) but don't mind paying full price for something that performs so well. Be prepared though, with shipping the way it is now you may have to wait for it at some point. I try to always have at least one in the wings but when I opened my last one and went to get two more my LSS only had two on the shelves. She said she had bought 40 and they were gone within a week..........I only took one because it seemed fair to leave one for someone else. But I'm on the call list for when she gets more!!
My glue of choice is Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.
I was just watching a YouTube video where someone was using that! She likes it because it allows for movement if you mess up when you first stick your item down.

I'm not sure there's much wiggle room with GinaK either. I haven't used in a couple of months so maybe I should check it out. Thanks re: the Tonic!
I've been using the Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky glue and have had good luck with it.
My major issue with glues is the opening clogging up. It's way better at that issue.
My second major issue is that the glue separates or settles a little. I begin getting runny glue and the bottom of the bottle gets too stiff. Shaking it for a long time helps, but I have better things to do than shaking a bottle of glue for 30 minutes. Gina K does this for me.
The Art Glitter Glue is also good - dries matte and clear.
Tonic Matte Media (tim Holtz stuff) is also good. I bought a fat syringe sold for paint techniques and used it to fill my old Gina K connect bottle with the multi instead. (Got the idea from Natasha Foote.)
Someone (I can’t remember who) said in a youtube video that she thought the the Hero Arts Precision Glue and the Honey Bee Precision Glues were all pretty much the same as GinaK Connect…i.e. made by the same supplier. Don’t know if that is true or not but worth considering. Personally, I’m a GinaK user…
I have so many different glues for different reasons and like them for different qualities. Art Glitter Glue really holds well, has a fairly small top and the clog is pretty easily opened with the pin. It is thicker and doesn't flow as smoothly as I would like. I recently tried Barely Art Glue, but the clogging top and the need to take the top off to store it between uses is a pain. The Tombo in the blue container is my go to, as it never clogs and has a small opening for fine work. The Tombo in the green bottle stays soft and pliable, so I use that for adhering stamps to blocks of wood. That keeps the stamps from getting rigid.
I bought a big bottle of Lineco Neutral PH adhesive for a workshop. I saw a video of someone refilling a tube like the Gina K or Lawn Fawn ones. The pointy tip comes off easily when you wiggle it back and forth. That's what I've been doing and it works well.

I'm glad this topic came up again. I am still hoping someone will know of a glue that is the same as Aleene's Super Thick Designer Tacky Glue. It is the greatest I have found for holding embellishments. I use a skewer or toothpick to apply. It hasn't been available for a long time now.
Art Glitter Dries Clear is my wet glue of choice. LOVE the metal tip for fine lines! Refill bottles are easy to find on the Internet. I've heard that this glue is not available in cold winter months as the glue freezes. Not a problem...just stock up in warmer months. A little of this glue goes a long way...thin line is all that's needed for a strong hold.
I'm so happy to see some shout-outs for the Tonic Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I recommended this a while back and no one else did. It does have some wiggle room, but also dries clear and that bottle will allow you to use every last drop [if you stand it on its head toward the end]. I've tried many glues and this is by far my favorite!
Art Glitter glue and Reptile glue are great. Not tacky, dries clear, and affordable. Just be aware that they only ship when it is above 40 degrees between you and them. It sounds like Bearly Art glue is very similar to these two.
Bearly Art Glue is Freeze Stable, which means it can ship year round. One day, I will give this a try. The Art Glitter Glue sounds wonderful as well, but like posted, you have to stock up in the warmer months as it is not Freeze Stable. I use my Tombow Glue till is gone then maybe will try something different.

Most of these glues are PVA glues. If you search for that, you should get a lot of results that are much less expensive than all the "designer" brands. They're pretty much the same thing.
I was a big fan of Tonic Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. My only issue with it is that the tip was always clogging. I have been using Bearly Art Glue lately and really like it. It is thin and haven't had the clogging issues I had with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Hello friends and thanks to everyone who mentioned my glue! I just wanted to clear up one fact. Our glue is NOT manufacturered by the same company as the other glues listed. In fact, the company we get our glue manufactured by only makes glue for us and they have their own signature brand. I think it's important to know in case anyone was trying to get our formula and thinking they could get it elsewhere.
