Smile Giga Scalloped Punches

I was wondering where everyone is getting these punches. I just LOVE them. I just have to have one lol! My friend's Mom is down in Florida (near Miami) and she said she would look around for one for my friend and I but we don't know of any craft stores down there. If there is anyone out there that could help that would be great. We live in Ontario Canada so if anyone knows of a Canadian company that sells these punches I would love to hear from you as well. Thanks so much.

I got both of mine online at www.joann.com. I think they'll ship to Canada too. Might want to check it out.

I checked all those places and they were sold out, but went to stampinfreak.com and got them within a few days.

That's funny... I just ordered the scalloped circle from www.createforless.com - the oval is out of stock, but they have the circle and the square! I'm so happy! Thanks for sharing those sites! I ordered the circle from Joann's only to get an email a few days later telling me that they were out of stock. Not cool!

Your right...not cool....BUT....if you got them on sale and perhaps with a free shipping coupon if you keep your order number and give them a call to find out when they are back in stock they will honor the sale price and your free shipping. I ordered mine this week knowing that one of the ovals was out of stock, I will get it eventually but was able to get it on sale and with free shipping. HTH

I've been drooling over these too and want one from my LSS while I have a 50% coupon. Before I buy though, are they hard to punch? I just hate having to stand on a punch to get it to go thru paper.
any advice?

Last time I checked Joann's, they didn't ship to Canada. I found a scalloped Oval on addictedtorubberstamps.com, and they ship to us, but the shipping is really high - $13.50US, but then that is airmail, so my last order (my first from them) came lickety-split.

Other than that, I don't know anywhere else in Canada. Scrapbookers Paradise doesn't carry them. My Michael's has had some lever punches in lately, but not the scalloped oval.

You'll have to let me know if you find another source for them with shipping to Canada, I love these punches!

The clever lever styles (like SU's) are easy to work with. The old style, with just a "button" to push- SUCK! (If I can say that!!)

Impress rubber stamps sells them also. I believe you may have to ask, since I can't find them on their website. I bought one there last week- they have one of every kind of punch possible!!!
Fabulous store!!
check them out-

So now I have a question - I thought I bookmarked a thread about this before so I would have it, but nope (silly me)

What size of plain oval nests with the scalloped Mega and Giga punches?

TIA for the help.

i love the scalloped punches too! im hoping that SU will add them to the next catty. maybe they moniter this site and see all the fuss over them and will put them in the next catalog, what do you think? i hope so. i hate to buy stuff i cant demo, but i do love them. and i could use them for my personal use, scrapbooking and stuff. but every time i buy non SU stuff, it ends up not getting used very much. please SU, if your reading, add some scalloped punches!

I too thought I had that thread bookmarked, there was a link to someone's blog that talked about the different sizes and which worked with what. Of course I can't find it. Anyway,at this site, http://www.franticstamper.com/marvy_punches.htm They list the sizes of each punch in a nice table-like layout. It makes it easy to see which would nest in what. Obviously, you would choose the size down on the plain oval or circle. HTH

Did you notice that it says it is the size of the punch mechanism, not the punched out shape? Since I don't know what a 'punch mechanism' is exactly, I'm still confused. I guess I will have to wait for my order from addictedtorubberstamps.com. They have the Giga (scalloped) and the Extra Jumbo (plain) in stock so I ordered them the other day.

Just another stamping adventure....

Well I got a reply saying all of the punches were OOS and it was a website glitch. I said to cancel my entire order (I had ordered one item besides the punches). They said it would be cancelled but they still charged my cc for it and then they had to credit it. On my last order from them an item was missing but I had been charged for it. I had to call and have them credit my cc for it-they said it was out of stock even though it didn't say that when I ordered it. So Joann's isn't the only uncool one.

Oh, man.... I sure will. I hope that it comes. I got a confirmation email for my order and it says that they are processing it and will email me when it is shipped... fingers and toes are crossed!!!

Oh right! Now I remember the thread. Thanks so much. I will pull out my CM templates because I never learned how to use the darn coluzzle

You can also get them from A Muse. Here is the link to the A Muse News blog where you can see the ones they carry (and some examples of how they nest with each other):
http://amusenews.typepad.com/photos/...y_punches.html
Then if you want to order, you can get the order form on their main website:
