last night I managed to get about five small drops on black stazon ink on a nice green sweater. I put stain stick on it and wached it, but it didn't come all the way out. What can I do - besides putting sequins over the spots!
I didn't think of tha! Thanks! The only thing I would be concerned about would be making it worse. I don't know about yours, but the top of my staz on cleaner is a black and yucky mess. I should probably try to get some of the ink offf first. Thanks!
You need to think about this more chemically - staz on is alcohol based and stain stick is not going to touch it, nor is water in a washing machine. If you blot your cleaner top on a paper towel, you should be able to remove most of the ink. Lighter fuild is another good option, though a lot of us don't keep that on hand anymore. You want to blot from the front and back, since the solvent may make the stain form a ring and spread if you aren't blotting it as you try to dissolve it.
I dropped a stamp covered in purple stayzon on my shirt once, was a cruddy shirt so I didn't care really....dumped that shout oxy on it just to see and voila it came out in the wash. Just make sure that whatever you try, don't dry it in the dryer until it's gone.
Try the Stazon cleaner if you have any. That stuff is awesome! Although I haven't tried it on Stazon ink, I have used hairspray with pretty darn good results on other types of ink. Good luck! I hope you can get it out!
I had a friend awhile back that dropped my entire pad down the front of her light pink shirt. I used oxi-clean on it and it completely took the ink/stain out. She is not a believer in Oxi as she thought the shirt was trashed
I know there is an ink remover you can buy at the office supply store called ink out or ink away, or something like that.
Speaking of stain removers...the new Shout with the two parts that mix together when you squirt it out is EXCELLENT. I don't know if it would work for this application, but it is great for so many other stains. It's one of the first stain removers I've used that actually works, so I wanted to share...

there's a new stain remover -Shout Advanced Gel- my sister showed it to me - you can even use it AFTER you have washed and dried your clothes!! It sounds like it might work.
