Question Fiskars 12-inch Ultimate Craft Trimmer

Can someone please help me ??......I took my trimmer out to work and noticed that the orange piece that also holds the blade came off the sliding piece attached to the rail. I am going nuts trying to put this back on.....Is there a trick?? Is it broken??
I swear this is making me crazy...pls help.
Thanks

I don't know if you figured this out yet...but the trick is to put it on in the middle of the rail.

I just got this trimmer. The "easy change" blade really is not so "easy". Hope you got it figured out! I thought the carriage didn't come off at all.
