Question Feathering with Recollections Cardstock

Hi all,

After reading a number of posts about the 110# Recollections cardstock at Michael's and talking a salesperson into letting me open a package to check the weight, I purchased a few packs (using coupons, of course!) and have been very pleased with how nice and heavy this is for card bases. However, tonight I was stamping directly on the cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and there is some feathering. I didn't see any feathering when I used SU! inks.

Has anyone else had an issue with ink feathering on this cardstock? I'm interested to know if there is something I could do to prevent the feathering, besides buying different ink. If not, I guess I'll need to do some research on which ink would work best on this cardstock or use it for card bases only without stamping on it directly.

Thanks for any input.

I haven't noticed any feathering, but I haven't used it really for stamping - mostly just card bases. I did a couple of tests with Memento ink to see how my copics would work and I didn't notice any feathering. I should pull out some of the inks I have to see if it bleeds for me...

cat_woman,

Thanks for your reply. The feathering is not bad, but as I mentioned above, I noticed it only with the Tuxedo Black.

If need be, I can try a different black ink. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
