I know about the free Tuesday file on the Silhouette blog.
I know I can change SVG files to GSD, but it is slow.
I have found a few sites such as: link 1 link 2
I have found lists, but many of the links are dead and the threads are from 2008.
Are there any current favorites?
Hi there, I see this is a very old thread, any new places to get some free GSD files? I just got a silhouette for Christmas and don't have any designs yet.
Thanks
Hi
I have a craft robo and a pazzles. I found this the other day. I have not as yet downloaded and tried any of the files. Give it a try. I hope it is useful.
I have several links on the side of my blog. Some of them require you to join the message boards to get the files.
My favourite is the scrapmag link.....it's in French but you basically look at the photo, find the thumbnail that says GSD with the same name and then download it. They have lots of cool shapes.
I haven't checked some of the other links lately so they might be old sorry!

Thank you very much! I did find Penny Duncan's designs the other day, and I must say her designs are AMAZING!! LOTS and LOTS of freebies!! I am sure I don't NEED anything else, she covered it all! I haven't tried any of them yet, but I am sure they will work. THANKS!!!

Lettering Delights Scrapbooking fonts, alphabets, Journaling Delights and Clip Art - Lettering Delights offers a freebie once a week, it's not always a cut file but sometimes it is. Following them on Facebook seems to be the best way to be notified as it's not in their newsletter.
btw the files they have for sale are really great. The older ones are SVG ( and can be convered with Inkscape) but all the newer files come in gsd as well and work great with the Silhouette.

Thank you ladies!!!
Thank you to all the ladies! I appreciate all the help. I'll be a PRO soon, LOL!! OK!! Not soon, but I do at least now have a place to start. I might plug in the silhouette tomorrow. I have found a lot of nice ones at pennyduncan, I will start cutting out some of them. Looks like the sky's the limit. Looking forward to making some cool stuff.
Thank you again for all your help.

Hi there, you might want to go join up with this forum, UK Scrappers. You have to be a member for a month before you can access the cutting files, but there are literally hundreds on here, posted by the members. Both SVG & GSD files. They also have loads of tutorials, and info about the Robo/Silhouette/Wishblade machines.
