I have all the SU! classic pads, so I have been using those. They work great for me! I did have to use a rubber eraser before the first use on each stamp though to get good ink coverage.

I used a good quality rubber eraser on all my stamps before I used them like was suggested with the packaging, and have used my SU! Classic inks with AMAZING results! I have NEVER been more pleased with clear stamps than I've been with the ones from PaperTrey and I will buy them ALLLLLLLL!
I've used ColorBox Fluid Chalk inks and SU! Classic inks. Both work very well. Clear stamps do *stain* after use but it doesn't affect the way the images stamp.
Like Val, (Hi Val!) I use the Fluid Chalk Ink.... But I also LOVE the Vivid Ink pads! I a really hoping they get more colors because I love the coverage they lend to clear stamps.
I like all inks really - at first I was just using Clearsnap Fluid Chalk inks (still love those) and pigment inks too - but lately I've been using my SU! Classic inks w/ fab results. They all work great for me!!
I use Brilliance Dew Drops and ColorBox Fluid Chalk Cat Eyes. Jeanne S told me about Brilliance in a thread I started on acrylic stamps, and she was right - it is BEAUTIFUL.
Are there really only 3 sheets of images??
Or is there a catalog somewhere I am not seeing...?
There are three image sheets and then the first set they cme out with that is all greetings. My first set just shipped - Green Thumb - yippee! It's a brand new company and they have a new release on the 15th of every month.
Papertrey has out 4 stamp sets so far but they will be coming out with a new set on the 15th of every month plus some extras along the way. What I like about that is that I can own ALL of them without feeling guilty. By the time they have enough to have a catalog I should own them all. ;) One set goes a long way. I played with the Butterfly set yesterday and came up with 7 different cards. I put them on my blog and will upload the rest of them to my gallery later today.
I have used SU classic pads with mine and have had excellent results. I am very interested in Palette ink, though. I just have to have everything match and will not buy the ink until I have matching cardstock to go with it.

Ditto! Except I was too lazy to use the eraser and they worked just fine without that step!
I've used craft pads, they were fine. But you have to heat set or wait a year for it to dry. It does give a better image - but I don't wait well. I use classic inks most of the time. I did just order the versamagic ones to see how they work.
I will say this though - I used the palette ink and am not really a fan. I did not get any better coverage or stamped image than my stazon. I don't mind the stink of stazon, it's comforting - you know, the smell of familiarity or something, lol!
Anyway, I had thought about getting some diff inks since I have several clear sets now, but thus far, the classic has been just as good. I'll let you know how the versamagic fairs....
Wow! That did stamp clean. Thanks for sharing this! =)
I am mostly a scrapbooker and am investing in the craft pads because they are suppose to be better for that. I just didn't want to have to purchase the regular pads too. It sounds like the craft take forever to dry? Hmmm.... maybe I should get the regular ones instead. Do they fade faster? What is the difference between them??
well, the classic are supposedly more likely to fade. I can't tell you if that is true or not cause not only do I not really scrap much, but I also don't really stamp in my albums when I do.
I had almost all the craft pads, but I got rid of them because they just sat there. I hated waiting for them to dry. And heat setting it does weird things to your cardstock.
What type of ink is best with the Paper Trey stamps
I am just getting into these and was wondering if anyone could share their experience with the best inks for these or clear stamps in general? I think I saw a posting once where someone said they thought chalk was best, but now I don't know....
