Me, too! Mono Multi glue! I discovered it several months ago (here on SCS). Now it isin the SU catalog. It has saved me a fortune in snail type adhesives.
You only put a tiny bead of the glue and it holds instantly. Its great,
and much cheaper than snail refills.
Kokuyoko Adhesive. it's awesome. dispenses easily, and holds up well. I can't stand it when you make something, and then the stupid snail doesn't hold, and it falls apart! arghhhhhhhhhh.
Duck brand snails (aka "the red ones") without a doubt! I tried using a friend's ATG & it didn't work for me. I'm too much of a klutz!
These are my favorite, too! The only thing I don't like is that they are not re-fillable and they are kinda hard to find. But they go on super smooth, no gumming up!

Mono the liquid in the green and white bottle
ATG 1/4" with gold tape. Totally awesome! (www.framingsupplies.com)
I recently bought Ad Tech from Wal-Mart and I really like it. It is rather inexpensive, refillable and holds very well. I also found the liquid formula of this same brand and I like it as well.

Mono Multi green, Scotch double sided tape, and Glue Dots. I've also read great things about Zip paper glue. I may have to pick up a bottle of that next time I make a trip to Michael's.
I use the 1/4" double sided tape from The Paper Palette. I found it at a show years ago and it is so AWESOME! It is also heat resistant. It is in a roll of 55 yards for $4.25
The only problem is they are located in Hawaii and it takes a long time to receive it since I don't live where there are shows any longer.

sorry for this probally silly question. i have problems with glue sticks not holding, do love my double sided tape, what kind of paper glue works best, in your opinion? it seems that some of the glue i've used, warps the paper, or ggets bubbles, or shrinks the paper kinda (i use alot of thin paper stuff too.)
i get so fustrated sometimes, it's driving me crazy, so any help is greatly appreciated.
I frequent acm or micheals, anything there?
thanks so much
I actually like the creative memories adhesive. It is a bit expensive but I really like the applicator. Other than that, I love glue dots. Someone told me though that you could make your own using silicone from the hardware store and that did NOT work at all.
Hi Jane -
No question is silly You would probably like Mono Multi (green bottle, as mentioned above). It works great on paper & really sticks well. A little goes a long way & I've never had it bubble or warp (but I do use it sparingly). I think Hobby Lobby carries it but I'm not sure about ACM or Michaels. HTH

I'm using my first (green) bottle of Mono Multi now that SU carries it and I love it! I also use Glue Dots a lot. Maybe in the last year or so I have also come to love the SU glue sticks. I can't speak for other brands, but the SU glue sticks work better than I would have thought. One time I heard a tip that if you apply the glue stick to both sides that you are adhering that they work better. I have even used the glue sticks adhering paper to metal...as a paint can or tin and have found it to work fine.
These are my favorite, too! The only thing I don't like is that they are not re-fillable and they are kinda hard to find. But they go on super smooth, no gumming up!
They do make them refillable. I have two and have some refills. I'll be getting rid of them though because I use the ATG 714 now...
