We happen to be goods friend s with the Vice President of Anchor paper. I get paper from him. His wife is totally sweet but does not scrap or stamp and not remotely interested. Helllllllooooooo.

I have been waiting to find this in any stores up here but no luck yet. Most people look at me funny when I ask for it, they've never even heard of it!
I bought one a few weeks ago; when it first came out and I love it. I abandoned my glitter for a very long time until I bought this pad. Now my glitter is feelin' the love and I am having fun with it. I will have to try pearl ex with it to see how that works.
Ok, I'll be the retard... How does this thing work?? Is it like the versamark and you use it like a stamp pad, or ????

I'm trying to mix it up with Mix-Ability every Friday (little behind!)
ooooh I hope we get that!! I have no patience for heat and stick and I want to put glitter on everything - I use a lot of 2-way glue but have difficulty get in all the tiny places on some stamps - like the snowflakes - this is EXACTLY what I've been waiting for!!
I saw one demoed a couple weeks ago at a Scrappin' Fair 3M was holding in Woodbury, MN. It was probably Anchor that was there, but I really don't remember the particular vendor. Anyway, the gal demoed a card where she stamped a heavier, solid image into the glue pad (looks just like a stamp pad, but it's glue) and then stamped the paper. Then she sprinkled sand onto it and shook off the excess. Just like we would do with glitter. It was great! Then she made a summertime card out of it where the sandy part was the beach. She said the glue pads wouldn't be available until May or something. It was awesome!!

Just FYI: The Essential Glue Pad from Tsukineko does not require heating... The one from Oriental Trading requires a heat gun. They are two different products.
I just got mine in the mail today. I bought it for $8.09 plus $2.50 shipping on ebay, great person to work with. She discounted my shipping because I bought several bottles of stickles too.
Ive bought stuff before from 7 kid and they are good to work with. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my glue pad :-) its soo quick and easy to use! I haven't tried it with pearlex, so I'm gonna try that too!

I'm using my Stampin Up pad and Mist. It is very thick but it comes off just fine. It's like a very sticky versamark pad. Love it though... made several cards today using the Eat Cake set.
Impress is here locally in Seattle. I am going to get one tomorrow. If anyone else wants me to pick one up, let me know!!! I will check email and pms before I leave for work in the morning. Our tax rate is 8.9% + whatever shipping costs to mail to you in a padded envelope~!

I go to a monthly stamp club at a local stamp and scrap store and we try new products. My challenge is not to buy much but I had to get this pad. I got one last week when the store finally got their shipment. They are $8.99 for a dry pad and refill. The store owner preordered these last summer and it took this long to get the glue pad to work correctly.
I love it and I hope SU carries it! I already sent them email with this request. I want to use it with my stamp classes. I tried it with glitter, pearl ex, micro beads and golf leaf. You just stamp and cover. It is so much easier than our heat and stick powder and it sticks much better. The image with Pearl Ex is a bit raised compared to Versamark with Pearl Ex.
I bought mine for $7.00 ar A Liittle Bizzar in LAke Elsinore CA. This stuff is fantastic!! Everythng holds and it dries quickly. I definetly hope SU gets it!

Are they selling these on the east coast yet? Does anyone know. I checked their "find a" and they have craft stores on the list that have closed years ago :( I would LOVE to get my hands on some of this. :-D

I got mine from a stamp store in Westford, MA so they have reached the east coast.
The store ordered 50 pads and most were already spoken for by regular customers. All 24 ladies from their two stamp clubs preordered one. This will be a very popular product.
