Hope that helps....well, as best it can without an actual date.

I ordered mine in mid-January and I got them about 2 weeks ago, so they are coming eventually. Frustrating that your demo won't find out for you though. I hope you get it soon, I love mine!
wondering if anyone is receiving theirs yet? I have a customer ordering it.
they are still on the backorder list. They have been getting in shippments and sending them out as fast as they can but this item is so popular that they have not caught up yet. It is hard to say how long of a wait it might be for current orders.
I didn't see these in the mini catalog until after I placed an order. Dang! I want these soo bad!

I just ordered this yesterday, too! My demo didn't mention anything about it being backordered, so good thing I saw this thread. I don't mind waiting, just like to know what's going on. Not surprising this is the case, that is one cute die!

off topic, but I read a great tip here on splitcoast to rub a crinkled ball of waxed paper over the die prior to cutting - it will help release the little butterflies after they've been cut. Just something to keep in mind when you all receive this awesome die ;)

In her defense, it's hard to keep up sometimes:-) There are a lot of things to look at on the demo site and I have to say I'm often guilty of forgetting about checking the BO list. Oops! I always feel super bad when there are backorders and especially if I didn't know! And it is totally worth the wait....so was my bird punch:-) Hope you all get yours soon!

Great idea! I was playing with mine quite a bit and had to use my tweezers on it. Totally love it!
I used this die last weekend. Borrowed it from a fellow stamper. I LOVE it. Ordered one yesterday, knowing it may take a while. I think it will be worth the wait. While I am not a big butterfly fan, the samples drove me to try it and buy it!

FYI they don't all stick like this, at least mine doesn't so maybe yours won't either. Cool that you have the tip if it does though. Mine come out in the paper and I just have "pop" them out but have never had one stick in the die like some people. Strange how some do and some don't!
Thanks for the wax paper tip. I had a terrible time the first time I used this die, then the next time I had it out I noticed that there was a note on the die that showed which side to have down as you run it through the machine. That made a huge difference in getting the small butterfly out. Guess it helps to read the directions!!!
I ordered mine at the end of February and it came today...unfortunately, I wasn't here to sign for it, so the UPS guy is coming back tomorrow! I can't wait!!! It'll be perfect for my Easter cards!
Hopefully, this means that yours is on its way! ;)

Well between dinner and now checking all my gazillion emails from the day (and a trip to Lowes with my DF) I'll get to stamp someday:-) I'll try to post whatever I get done (hoping to start soon after all these dang emails) but I have to teach aerobics at 8:30 tomorrow am and then work at my "real job" after that but hopefully it will rain and I wont' have to do the "real job". Then I can stamp more. Anyway, I'll try really hard to get stuff posted before I fall asleep
Some people are having a problem with the hinge of Embosslits breaking as they go through the Big Shot machine. To keep your hinge intact, be sure to line it up so that the hinge is perpendicular to the rollers. This way, one end of the hinge will enter first. It seems that the people who have had problems lined their Embosslit up so the entire hinge entered at the same time.
